Easy to find, nice environment and instructions to get in clear enough. Parking for the pods needs is a pain, all spaces full so ended up half on a woodchip pile.Wifi a must as there is zero signal however I dont think the charges are fair. Read the description properly as i didnt and didnt realise theres no oven. Definitely minimal cooking facilities so keep in mind, highlighted as we were not allowed to use bbqs.Smoke alarm is directly in line with the hob, so a lot of breakfast alarms going off from people cooking bacon sandwiches. Also the fridge is tiny. Beds are comfortable, shower good and powerful although the drainage isnt good so the tray will fill up very quickly. Cleanliness wasnt great, the pans weren't properly clean so started sizzling and burning when put on the hob. And there were cobwebs all round the cabin, few big spiders settled into the top bunk ceiling as well. Its a nice site for just a weekend but I would maintain £150 a night is too much.

We stayed in the Bluebell Plus pod for an overnight stay after visiting Alton Towers. The pod was perfect for our family of 5.It was very peaceful & quiet. The woodland was lovely & we had a walk along the paths. The pizza van, that was there on Friday evening, was extremely tasty & saved us cooking! In the pod we stayed in, it did smell as if someone had been smoking in it.Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful area to explore, lovely and peaceful. Excellent communication via email with staff. Slight shame that we weren't provided with enough hand soap or toilet roll for the 3 night that we stayed, a small gesture that makes a huge difference.

Really enjoyed our one-night stay at Quarry Walk. Everything was clean and well looked after, and the double bed bunk beds were brilliant for the kids. We loved having the fire pit too – such a nice way to end the evening. A lovely little stay and we’d happily come back!

We stayed for one night as somewhere to sleep as we attended the JCB LIV golf event 10 mins away, so we were only at the pod from 8pm at night till 8am in the morning, it had everything we needed for such a short time to stay, but the actual pod wasn't great, full of dust and crumbs and the smell was horrendous we had to go back out and buy air freshener as it was so stale and musty, it didn't feel enjoyable to be in the pod, the window was broke, the shower head adjuster was broke, the kitchen cupboard was loose and hanging off, if it would of been a decent price i could of understood but for 200 plus a 100 deposit they dropped on us the day before it absolutely wasn't worth it, i wouldn't recommend to anyone or go back.

We booed in the same day on the phone .Two autistic tired kids in the hot weather in the car had to wait over 30 minutes for check In as the only way to pay the deposit was via a link which didn’t work and Internet connection was so poor.we paid £175 for one night before we got there but deposite couldn’t be secure with card or any other ways. Fridge’s ice had melted and there was a puddle on the floor. Door and windows were faulty and so hard to lock each time we got out. There was gone off food at the back of the fridge and a bumble bee nest under the decking. We were told we can bring our charcoal to have BBQ but found out later only wood was allowed.but reception was closed by the. To buy wood It is over priced for what is offered over all. They charge for wood , parking, towels also.

Overall the site was very impressive and our kids loved it especially the fire pits it was only slightly let down by the fact the sofa bed bedding was missing and we paid an extra £5 to have the beds made up. so we had to go to reception to get it and also on the top bunk bed and double bed was quite a few hairs we just dusted them off as it was quite late by the time we had noticed them But apart from this the log cabin was perfect

An excellent spot in the woods, made even better by the communal firepits. I booked as a Father's Day gift for my husband and it didn't disappoint. We're a family of 4 and stayed in the Bluebell Plus Pod, it was very spacious and would easily suit larger families. The facilities were great, although the fridge is quite small, so don't buy too much food. The built-in Bluetooth speakers were a nice touch and the bathroom had a powerful shower. For a more secluded feel, I'd recommend Pod 10, as it overlooks the woods. Bring lanterns, the outdoor light is motion-sensor and doesn't stay on for long. We bought a campfire pack (£12.50) with logs, kindling, fire starters, matches and marshmallows, enough to cook and toast treats later. The park was perfect for our daughters (11 & 8). Next time we'll try a lodge/cabin, as they look amazing. The shop was well stocked and reasonably priced. Just be aware the access road is single track with minimal passing places. We'll definitely be returning!!!

Our stay at Quarry Walk Camping & Caravan Park was absolutely fantastic. The location is breathtaking, with beautiful woodland walks, stunning views and plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature. The facilities were spotless and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The park is set within 46 acres of woodland with fantastic walks and a great children's play area.We visited as a group of around 60 Year 6 children and adults, and we made memories that will last a lifetime. The children loved exploring the woods and playing in the park. We also enjoyed a lovely walk to the Raddle Inn, where the children had great fun on the bouncy castles and the chips were delicious! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and our evenings spent around the fire pits chatting and singing were truly special. Thank you for an amazing stay – we would definitely return!
