Lynders is a family run business that has been open since 1950. The hidden gem of North County Dublin offers stunning panoramic views of Rockabill lighthouse, Lambay Island and local favourite Martello Tower.
Our private beach access allows for swimming, fishing, water sports and dogs aren't left out!
Our newly renovated Glamping Pods are perfect for those guests looking to camp in luxury. Each pod and its surrounding area is strictly private for you. Guests are permitted full access to laundry and shower facilities on site, coupled with outdoor areas for barbeques, games and relaxing. You can get used to this style of glamping. Guests supply their own sleeping equipment i.e. duvets, pillows, linens, towels, if otherwise, add Linen Hire as an additional extra during the booking process.
Each pod is cozy & fully furnished and accommodates up to 2 adults and 2 young children. The Pod is equipped with a double bed and lounge area with a double sofa bed.
Guests have access to their own in-pod kitchenette which includes a sink, kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, cutlery and utensils.
Also, guests of the dome are entitled to free wifi and a TV!
For the children, our new playground is situated right next to reception 1 min from your pod.
Our Pods have their own private lavatory / hand wash basin for the comfort of our guests.
Electric heating ensures you can enjoy a perfect temperature at all times, no matter what the weather is saying outside.
Outside the Pod, guests can make use of their own private decking which makes the perfect setting for BBQs, games or soaking some rays.
Shower facilities are available offside just meters away (€1 coins needed). One car is included in booking price.
Check-in available from 3PM on day of arrival and checkout is by 11am on day of departure and ONLY during our reception opening hours.
The Dome and its surrounding area is strictly private for occupants and the scenery is simply magical.
Please note: Dogs/Pets are not allowed in any of our rented accommodations. We are a well maintained, friendly site that is family run. We cater for couples and families with children. We DO NOT cater for adult/teen groups, hens/stags or those who are looking to stay up at night past our strict family curfew.
In order to maintain a quiet and respectable park suitable for our guests, because camping is for everyone.

Really enjoyed my stay. Staff went above and beyond to help. Only improvement i felt was the glamping pods could do with a wee path or stepping stones up to them to prevent you bringing in so much muck in our lovely Irish weather. Or a mat inside to wipe your feet may help But great time had anyway.Pod was amazing and so cozy. Surrounding area and beaches were amazing. A hidden gem not far from Dublin. I will certainly be back ThankyouDeirdre

We enjoyed our break away. Very peaceful and amazing views and coastal walks. Beds were uncomfortable the second night. Had a sore back. We had a lovely feed out from the local Chinese and chippy. Would have loved to have had showers in the pod. There was great hot water in them.

August 2023Congratulations to the Lynders for a beautiful well maintained site.I took my 3 grandchildren aged 2, 5, and 10 and stayed in one of three glamping pods, a wonderfully cute wooden house with everything you need, except linen. Kids loved it.The Lynders site in portrane has a safe playground and shop with borrow books and access to a small rocky beach Facilities were as they should be and the staff very friendly and helpful.I really couldn't fault the site.Portrane has beautiful walks and scenery with Lambay in sight, also a great Calisthenics Exercise Area or turn left at park exit to find Tower bay beach for swimmers, caves to explore, coffee n cake and The Sea Sauna to warm up after that swim, located in the car parkWhile the children were happy with the beaches and playground myself and the 10yr old enjoyed the walks and wildlife, the history and exploring the graveyards of portrane. A truly wonderful place for curious little explorersDefinitely wort

We stayed in the domesLoved the dome, it was very clean. Had such a great holiday. Kids loved every minute. Playground, beach and very helpful and kind staff..We.will be back next year. Thanks very much

Gorgeous clean site. Well taken care of and felt very safe. Right beside beach. Great location. Great shop onsite that supplies a few essentials, a nice selection of treats and coffee/tea bar that also offers hot chocolate. Would definitely visit again. Just to note no flickers allowed only bikes and scooters. Kids will have a great time.
