We had a lovely couple of days in a camping pod. Site was quiet and facilities were great.

I stayed at Upwood in one of their pods as I was attending a writing course in Haworth. The walk every day to the village was pleasant, and I am so glad that I stayed here. The pod itself was cosy, and though the tuffi mattresses aren't particularly comfortable, the pod was warm and convenient which made for a very good night's sleep every night. Considering the variable weather when I stayed - which ranged from howling winds and rain to bright sunshine - I was glad to have the steady and reliable cover of the pod with its reliable heater to keep me cosy at night! The toilets and showers are spacious and well maintained, the constant radio is a nice touch so it feels friendly and welcoming whatever time of day and night you visit! I saw them being cleaned often, which was great. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the bar has lots of events. The food is great too, with plenty of vegetarian options. Prices are on par with the village.I highly recommend Upwood!
Thank you for taking the time to write your review. Sorry you felt the tuffi mattress wasnt particulary comfortable, I will have a look at them.We are pleased that everything else was fine for you :)

I stayed in a pod alongside other family members and the site was wonderful. Very clean, easy to navigate and the staff were all so lovely and helpful! It was hard to believe I was only on the other side of Halifax, so peaceful and serene with views over the moors.
Thank you very much for your review, Love the photos :)

Staff absolutely lovely , the only thing I would complain about is the showers was cold and do not give much water out .
Thank you very much for your review, the showers have now been rectified :)

The actual pod was exactly what we needed, it comfortably fit a double blow up bed and our belongings. The shower and toilet facilities were amazing and so clean: the showers are very spacious and there are separate wash rooms. The pub is very cosy but we struggled to get a good table when we just walked in, so would deffo recommend reserving a table. The evening food was just okay but the breakfast was delicious and a very filling portion. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely be returning ☺️
Thank you very much for your review, hope to see you again soon :)

For a couple of nights away after visiting my son the little pod I hired was excellent accommodation for me on my own. It was really useful not having to bring a tent & with an electric socket & lights so more comfortable than a tent. Upwood is an ideal location for exploring the surrounding attractions. I spent a day in Skipton & visited Halifax on my journey home. Haworth is right on the doorstep but I didn't visit on this occasion. There are also walks in the area easy to access. I plan to return
Thank you very much for your review and photo of your standard heated pod. :)

The site was lovely, however the only draw back is the loud music in the toilet and shower rooms. It would be a lot better without this on and would maintain the peace and tranquility of the overall site.
Thanks for the review, good feedback always appreciated. The music is popular with the majority so unfortunately something that will be staying. I'm happy though to chq the volume, as last time I was in, I wouldn't have considered it loud, but maybe that has been altered.Regards Reception
