Accepted Our Mega Glamping Pod at Upwood Holiday Park, boasts panoramic views over the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Pleasantly situated for a Yorkshire Dales National Park glamping trip, one mile from the Brontë village Haworth and the Worth Valley steam railway this is the perfect place for glamping in Yorkshire!
Our glamping pods take away the possible lows of camping and the Mega Pod is that bit more luxurious with a fixed double bed, a sofa bed, a toilet, a washing sink, a table and four chairs, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle and a flat screen TV with DVD. The Mega Pod is heated and extremely well insulated, keeping you cosy and warm in even the coldest months of the year for complete luxury glamping in Yorkshire! All you need to bring with you for your stay are duvets, pillows, bath towels, kitchen utensils and a BBQ / cooking stove. To the outside of each glamping pod there is wooden decking and a gravel area for cooking on (beware: no bbq's or cooking stoves inside glamping pods at any time). Whether it is a romantic break for two or a mini adventure for a family of 4, the mega glamping pod is for you!
At Upwood you will find a clubhouse with a friendly bar, Upwood Inn. There is also a beer garden for summer days! With food served from a superb menu, live music on Saturday nights and Bingo on Sundays there is plenty to keep you entertained and it is the perfect place for you and your family to relax after along day exploring the Yorkshire Dales area or to meet up with friends and family.
Other facilities include an onsite shop, an indoor and outdoor play area, as well as a games room with pool tables and arcade games on site so there’s plenty to do to keep the kids happy! Free bathroom facilities are available to guests and there is free WiFi onsite.

A friendly campsite with a variety of places to stay ... before have used a pitch, static caravan and mega pod. This time back to a mega pod ... like the layout of campsite with different areas. Clubhouse nice and friendly even for someone on their own as I was. Will definitely be back. Thank you Upwood

I have stayed at alot of holiday parks but upwood has been the best I have ever stayed at. It is so clean super quiet after 10pm the clubhouse is amazing and so is the staff there nothing is too much trouble for them. The facilities are very clean no matter what time of day you go. The clubhouse is open for food if you don't wish to cook at night and is extremely good value for money big portion sizes. The bar is cheaper than most. You can take your dogs in with you the have alot of activities going on throughout the week which you get a newsletter about when you check in.10mins drive you are in howarth and ilkley is easily accessible from upwood too the surrounding area is stunning you can easily forget where you are. I would personally recommend upwood to anyone we now meet up with family and friends every year for a catch up excellent value for money.

2nd time booking the mega pods and was just as good as the first time we came will definitely be booking again shower block and toilets spotless staff very friendly

Location is beautiful with stunning views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a Mega Pod, it was clean and in a lovely area. The shower/ toilet block was close by. They were cleaned regular and it showed. The pub is lovely and our children loved the kids area with soft play, pool and air hockey etc. Food was delicious and great sized portions.

We visited with a big group of friends and family, we were able to book into the pub and reserve tables which was a massive bonus as a big group. It's only a short walk down to Haworth which is a great little place with a lovely park and a few pubs. The only improvement I can suggest is an outside shelter for folk to sit when the weather isn't great. It rained for every day of our visit which made it difficult to cook in the BBQ and stay dry. The location is beautiful, you will not be disappointed if you book here 😊

We booked a mon-fri half term break as a family of four including 2 young children. The location was beautiful, park nice and clean and everything within good distance. We stayed in a mega pod which was good but tight on space for the four of us. The pod had everything we needed and was clean but a bit tired, bathroom door had to be slammed to close which was a bit annoying at night. But we slept well and was comfy. Shower and washing facilities nearby which need to be accessed via a fob. Showers were ok. The bar/restaurant was fab. We went in a few times for drinks and kids used the soft play. Lovely little garden out the back too. We decided to eat there on the last night and food was amazing, huge portions and so tasty! Would recommend. We used as a base to go out each day. York, Leeds, Ilkley, Haworth, Skipton all within an hour and some beautiful surroundings to drive through. Thanks Upwood, we would definitely stay again!

Easy to access in lovely rural setting, friendly staff, all camping areas were clean and tidy. Toilets, showers kept in good clean order. The megapod was lovely and warm,clean and comfortable, had all you needed to enjoy a relaxing break.

A fabulous site to chill out, enjoy the wildlife, visit local towns & city's. The site caters for all forms of camping,has great modern facilities well maintained ground ( no litter anywhere) The staff are welcoming,great at what they do & the club has a fab atmosphere and serves brilliant food.. It's an experience all age groups will enjoy.Go on find out for yourselves you want be sorry
