Recently returned from a week in the Sika Lodge in April. The trip was absolutely fantastic. We were looking for a relaxing break to get away from our busy lives - this really was the tonic we needed. We took our Border Collie too and it was a perfect location for lovely walks in the Gisburn Estate with our furry friend. The Lodge itself was immaculate, very clean. Very spacious and ideal for couples, also had the added benefit of an enclosed garden.Immediately felt at home and we were very well looked after by Lucy at Reception, hard working, friendly and very approachable even though we didn't need anything. We had a couple of visits to the on site bar and the restaurant Hindelinis. Lovely ambience in both, very friendly and the food was delicious. We didn't plan to use the pool but weather was so good we did pop down and it had a relaxed feel and the water was pleasantly warm too. We are definitely going to return to Ribblesdale it was truly amazing holiday escape!

Stayed here over Easter weekend with partner and our dog. Had a lovely time staying in a Sika lodge. The lodge was well equipped in terms of kitchen utensils and towels. The lodge also had an enclosed garden area which was great for our dog. The site itself was well maintained with some nice walks onsite. Saw lots of deer and peacocks roaming around the site. Visited the onsite restaurant/bar a couple of times and enjoyed the food and drinks, the staff were very friendly. Explored the local area and walked up Pendle Hill which was about 15 mins away. Overall would highly recommend.

We arrived on a dark December evening. Checked in seamlessly and parked right outside of our lodge. The Lodge didn't look much from the outside in the dark but on entering it was stunning, clean, bright and airy everything we could need was provided. Our lodge had enclosed gardens, perfect for our dog. We woke to a cold, crip morning and the view out over the countryside was so peaceful and relaxing. It was wonderful seeing the deer and peacocks meandering past. We ate in the onsite restaurant everyday the food was excellent. Every staff member we encountered were helpful and could not have been nicer. All in all this is a great place to visit. We could have stayed forever.

Honest feedback only, we really loved the stay. Was nice to get back to the charm of the Ribble Valley.Three things I will say that were very disappointing; The settee was covered in dog hairs and grubby, we couldn't use the lounge area at all.The floor hasn't had a proper mop in god knows how long, why I know this, I forgot my sliders and walked around bare foot, the soles of my feet were literally black. And last thing, the bath was a bit grubby, not being rinsed out properly when it was last cleaned. My Mrs ran a bath and the water had bits in it and a few small flies.

Second visit to the site - stayed in a different lodge after an unavoidable change to original booking initially which was handled very well by the management. Lovely location, clean and quiet - great onsite restaurant / cafe / bar. Will be back

We found the location ideal for our interests, however,we were left completely bemused by the staff. We were booked into Sika lodge 60 but I received a text on our way from SouthWales to say it had a leak in the roof and would we consider a replacement. The e- mail says you will be compensated and receive a complimentary return stay at Sika In the future. We found this very generous but when it was not mentioned after a couple of days we asked the site manager Richard what was happening and had an employee overstepped her authority. He photographed the e-mail and said we would receive the difference between our original booking and the lodge we ended up in.Nothing of what was offered has happened or likely to. Our lodge No. 12 has a faulty hot tub and rotted unsafe decking both reported to maintenance but with no resultant action.

Lovely accommodation & location. It was our first trip with a new puppy and it was great. We were given extra towels for the pup and the outdoor hot water tap was brilliant especially after the wet muddy walks. Food in the restaurant was lovely and we were able to order take outs. The lodge was clean and so lovely. We have booked another stay already.

Sika is a beautiful property with a secluded garden and hot tub. The property inside was immaculate and had all the necessary equipment we needed for our stay. The site in general was very tidy and well presented with lovely walks from the door. We enjoyed several meals in the restaurant and were served by friendly staff. It was also lovely to have a spa treatment in the comfort of the lodge.
