The Hut is an off grid unit on our family farm's campsite. It has a wood-burning stove (with logs included) a solar panel that powers lights and a phone socket. The sofa folds out to a double bed with pillows and quilt supplied. Guests are welcome to use our award winning toilet and shower facilities (towels supplied) and campers kitchen which has a fridge, microwave, sinks for washing up and washing machine. The hut has its own kettle for use on the stove, a cool bag and cutlery, plates and mugs. An outdoor camping stove is needed if you are not eating out! In summer an outdoor cooking area and seating is supplied. Enjoy our rural farm setting and riverside walks whilst being only 2 miles from the market town of Malton with its shops, restaurants, cafes, rail and bus routes to coast and city.

Very cosy and comfortable shepherd's hut. Good half-way level between small tent camping and a caravan or campervan. Good sanitary block as well. Lovely grounds made for a peaceful stay.

We were staying with family, one daughter in a caravan and the other in the lodge. So we were all within easy walking distance of one another. The hut is cosy with crockery, cutlery, towels, bedding provided. Kettle and power point with two ports for phones. Modern and very clean shower block within very handy walking distance. Next to the shower block is a fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, hob etc The site is well lit at night without being obtrusive to sleep, useful for those late night toilet visits! Safe and friendly site. Wonderful quiet and relaxing stay.

I had a lovely stay here in the shepherd's hut. What a beautiful hut with everything I needed and every detail thought about. The campsite is in a great location, has fantastic facilities, all spotlessly clean and the owners were really friendly and helpful. Thank you; I will definitely return!

Facilities are first class: toilets and showers are very clean and the kitchen provides all you need. The site is picturesque and very calm. The site is only a short drive to surrounding attractions such as, Malton Old Town, and 3 coastal resorts. Malton has some good restaurants especially No. 46. Would highly recommend Wyse House Farm.

We stayed in the Shepherd's Hut which was wonderful. The owner has made this accommodation very homely and added lots of outdoor features. For example there is a gazebo type structure to the rear of the hut, under which there is a large table and a camping stove. There is a small fenced garden to the side of the hut which features a bistro table and a firepit. Inside you will find everything you need from cutlery and crockery to bedding and towels. The site itself is beautifully maintained and the toilet/shower blocks were spotless. There is also a kitchen area which again is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had a perfect stay and it exceeded our expectations.

As a surprise treat booked the little Shepherd Hut for family coming to stay for a Birthday do. I stayed the first evening on my own, had the most peaceful and 'chilled out' evening, lit the Diddy wood burner, so snug and cosy. This campsite is perfect, peaceful, clean, amenity's are 1st class, fun friendly staff. highly recommend, even if you are on your own and want time out. Big thumbs up.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Shepherd's hut. Great location close to Malton, a good base for activities around Ryedale or getting to the coast. A short walk to the river where there's space to walk your dog if you have one. Campsite facilities excellent and clean & tidy, hut done out so nicely, very cute, with everything you will need.
