Situated next to a small stream on the edge of our quiet campsite, is our cosy shepherd‘s hut, Misty. With a double bed plus bunk bed, this is a perfect getaway for families as well as couples. The small kitchen comes with a fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, along with a portable electric hob, meaning meals can be rustled up in no time, or gather round a barbecue in the private outdoor seating area and watch as the sun sets over the meadow in front of you. With a breakfast bar to enjoy food or a glass of wine at, and a flame effect fire to keep you toasty, the shepherd’s hut is perfect whatever the weather. The wild meadow at the very heart of the site is a haven for wildlife, with deer, badger, foxes and rabbits frequent visitors, and swallows and red kites swooping through the skies are a regular sight. With a maze of quiet lanes on our doorstep this is a perfect base for cyclists, and with seven stunning beaches and the Wales Coast Path just a 15 minute drive away, walkers will love it too.
