All Robin’s Nest residents have access to the other facilities on site.

A fee of £25 for a dog is added for the week
We require a security deposit of £200 (£250 with Dogs) for bookings. This is payable on arrival and will then be returned on departure day.

Staff were lovely, we were impressed with the site as soon as we arrived. Accommodation was stunning, lovely plot, the extras we received milk, eggs, bread etc were a really nice extra. BBQ was great and used for cooking breakfast 😊. The fishing platform was big enough for the 2 of us to fish, and we did catch. We booked the Queens Head pub in the village for the 2 nights and Sunday lunch, glad we booked otherwise we would have struggled to get a table, lovely pub, staff spot on, and food was good. We did have a lunch at Cafe by the Lake, good food.

We spent a wonderful weekend in Robin's Nest. It had absolutely everything we needed and the tv was a bonus for nights in after cold days spent fishing. The fishing was a success and our dog loved his evening walks to the other ponds. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. We came home well rested (the bed was very comfortable) and look forward to booking again.

A nice place to stay and relax, fishing not bad, needs a few bigger Carp. The food in the cafe was excellent, just a bit pricey and the staff were very friendly.

Sumners Pond and Robin's Nest was excellent. My only criticism is the lack of shelving and hanging space throughout. I appreciate space is tight but some shelving on the wall at the foot of the bed and in the bathroom is possible along with a couple of coat hooks in the main area. Otherwise everything has to be stuffed into a suitcase under the bed.

Not as well equipped as last year , no table and chairs, lap top trays unacceptable as cramped when eating on the setee lack of china mainly dishes for fruit and serving , the lack of china made even making a drink for my family a no go , as you know we as a family have used Sumners as a get together , members travelling from the north to be with us , hope these issues will be addressed , I believe these alterations have been put in place because perhaps others have abused that the accommodation is for 2 which if so it’s a shame as Robins Nest was always perfect for me.

We stayed in Robins Nest, a small but comfortable shepherds hut with a fenced in garden with everything you need provided to ensure a pleasant stay. The site has a variety of fishing lakes which are well stocked and the surrounding woodland is great for strolling around. The café and tackle shop are very good if a little expensive and within a ten minute walk is a typical country pub and a convenience store selling a wide range of food and drink. Some family and friends were staying in other lodges/pitches and it was a memorable social occasion. We’ve all booked again for next year.

Lovely lodge, small but room enough for two for a 4 night stay. Cosy and warm on February chilly evenings. Great location overlooking Farm Pond with large jetty for fishing, which was the predominant reason for stay. Small wooden shed at rear to lock away your fishing gear safely, which was good. Water still too cold for the bigger fish to show but still caught 10+ small carp and numerous silvers. On site restaurant serves nice food but plenty of good pubs within 10-15 minute drive. Horsham well worth a visit. Nice walks around the complex and the new born calves at the farm are cute. Reception staff friendly and helpful, arranging to change a blown light bulb within an hour of raising the matter.
