A really great spot in the woods, peaceful and full of nature we walked to a nearby pub only about 20 minutes sat outside enjoyed the view, the Thai food van in the car park was serving really nice grub. Pod was cosy, nice and warm with a really good shower and Bluetooth speakers! Pod / kitchen had everything you needed cutlery wise and even a little fridge with mini freezer. We took towels with us and tea and coffee and ordered the fire & marshmallow kit which was lovely to sit out and toast!

The pod and facilities were very clean and well maintained, and we especially loved the fire pit in the evenings for toasting marshmallows. The grounds are great for walking around, and the playground was a big hit with our son. I also liked that you could borrow a DVD to watch in the pod (would love to see a few more kid friendly DVDs if possible) A fantastic location too, being so close to Alton Towers — we’d definitely recommend it for families.

Easily signposted and the communication from the site was very good, pre and post stay. Pod was average but clean, bed settee was very uncomfortable and temperature on the shower did not work but campsite followed this up. Stove was not the easiest to work, could do with some instructions in the book. Peaceful setting, field for kids to play in (situated on the map). Small shop with essentials and helpful staff. Clean and tidy.

Everything was great overall, some things i think would improve the experinence overall. 1. Wifi was horrific, very similar to train quality(poor) where it drops in and out and bufffering constantly on streaming services. £10 a day is a lot to ask for such poor service. 2. Patio light is motion sensored, I travelled alone and spent the evening reading or writing on the patio, a permanent light on option would have improved the experinece as I had to keep getting up and walk towards light (hidden behind open door)

Was really pleased with our glamping pods and the location. Was only here for 1 night but used the fire pit which was situated between the 2 pods we have booked. Definitely be back next year for a few days but hopefully try the lodges with hot tubs. Already given details of the site to other family members. Spoke to the ladies in reception who were very helpful and friendly.

Everything is fantastic about quarry walk and I've been going now for the past 3 years but if there was one thing I could say as an improvement it would be to put a small lamp on the bluebell cabins

We stayed at Quarry Walk park for 3 nights in October as I saw on the map it was only 10/15 minutes away from Alton Towers which was perfect for us!We arrived on the Sunday evening and it was easy to find on the satnav and the park was fairly easy to navigate in the dark. I had paid for 3 days of WiFi but on arrival it wasn’t working and the reception was closed so I had to ring the WiFi hotline and purchase additional WiFi. The next day a staff member got us a new WiFi code. The cabin was super cute, but it could have been cleaner. Otherwise it had exactly what we needed for our stay. We brought our own food to cook so we didn’t need to eat out everyday. It has a little fridge, microwave and 2 burner induction hob.The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast in the mornings. We would definitely stayed again as we loved it there!

We stayed in pod 4 for Scare Fest. On arrival, we were quite late, and the reception was closed; however, the staff were quick to help and let us in. Pod 4 was lovely and warm, and the bed was more comfortable than most other accommodations we've tried in the area. We did bring a mattress topper for the couch bed (out of habit by now), but my mother has no complaints and managed to sleep fairly well. The kitchen had everything we needed, and my mother enjoyed taking her breakfast outside to enjoy the forest view. Our only snag was the shower; we just couldn't get it to stay warm. It may have been user error, but we didn't stay long enough for it to be worth figuring out.Despite that, we loved staying here and will definitely be coming back, perhaps in a larger group for next year's Fear Fest.Thank you for hosting us.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the location was lovely, set in a wooded area surrounded by lovely walks and a few quaint old pubs. And the cabin was very cosy and had everything we needed for a relaxed stay. Would definitely stay again!
