From the time you draw into the campsite the carefulness with which it is maintained is evident. The grounds, the washrooms and other facilities are immaculate. The welcome at the reception, and when using the shop, is warm and friendly. Time is given to ensuring that each persons needs are attended to.The Pod we used was well equipped, well cleaned and prepared for our arrival. On a cold and windy day its warmth was much appreciated!The place we found best to eat was The Elm Tree, where the menu is well varied, and the staff are very welcoming. Other eating places worth trying are the Fish Shack on the edge of the road to Portland, where specialised choice of fish is second to none ;Cove Inn at the end of Portland Chesil Beach, to learn what it really is like when the storms sweep over the Beach, and Portland Heights Hotel to enjoy the evening view over the sea and harbour if you go for an evening meal

Very clean, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Very well stocked shop and clean facilities. We would definitely stay again. Staff happy to help. We was recommended by someone else and we will definitely pass the recommendations on.

Return visit to this very pleasant part of the country and would not stay any where else other than Higher Moor site,What can I say the site its self is beautiful with tremendous views of surrounding country and so well maintained. The accommodation second to none having a family pod lodge clean modern private beautifully appointed and lovely bathroom defiantly a must and even harden campers who chatted too after a quick tour of the pod said their return visit will be pod based a change from their tents.See why its a five star site, amenities spotless from communal showers and toilets the great games room which is great fun. The onsite shop provides every thing you need and more and the big beer tent great fun chatting with other campers. Staff what can I say the manager Daniel so friendly and hospitable nothing too much trouble and this cascades down to all the team as they are all so approachable. Absolutely loved this camp site. Lovely local farm shop with everthing you needed, staff really helpful and Freindly. Only a 5 minute drive to weymouth or a 20 minute walk to bus stop if didn't want to drive. Entertainment night and pizza was amazing best night we had kids loved it. Lovely play park for the kids and small Entertainment room Toilets and shower blocks have to be the cleanest I've ever seen. Loved the s pod we stayed in clean tidy and had everything you needed and had the best shower ever. No one wanted to leave so booking again for next year.

We loved our third stay here. We love that it’s not too big, there is a small but well stocked shop, love the food vans that come onto sight as well the marquee area for live music . The campsite is so well run too. We have two children aged 11 and 7 and they have so much fun going to the park area & shop on their own. The glamping pods are perfect for us, we get to enjoy campsite life without camping!! Highly recommend.

Barrier was a pain as it never read my number plate and i had to get out every time i entered the camp site - apart from this everything else was great

We had our best holiday at higher moor farm The camp is easy to get around. Children are catered for with a park to play on and a games room. The food vans and bar is a welcome addition and local entertainment very enjoyable Weymouth is a short drive from Nottington where there are restaurants and a beautiful soft sandy beach. The harbour is certainly a must to visit.

Great location for access to Weymouth and the surrounding areas. Daniel is the best and funniest bingo caller ever. Thank you for welcoming us all to your site

It was a lovely clean site with lots of walk and not far from Weymouth.
