We had a great time. The pod was perfect - comfy for us all. Warm and comfy - felt super secure too. We had lovely neighbours and everyone was friendly. Kids loved going out for breakfast and milk (and my coffee!) in the mornings to the farm shop. We were out in the day alot - the people at the site helped with bus routes and things to do. The children enjoyed air hockey in the games room at the campsite. The pizza and music night on Wednesday was super fun - such a nice friendly vibe. My son had the time of his life and enjoyed spotting Hamish (the guitarist) out in the harbour the next night. We loved the area - country walks, stunning beaches - we saw Chisel, Weymouth and Durdle Door, we loved the fun seaside activities like the arcades, fish and chips, ice creams. Ellis loved crabbing at the harbour. We missed Portland Bill - so that's for next time. But we managed a boat trip. There is so much to see! It is easy to get around on buses - we didn't have a car but that didn't stop us!

This is our third stay at Higher Moor Farm and we love the location to other places in Weymouth like the beach front and the local shops. Despite this, I do think the cleanliness of the pods could be improved - behind the sofa beds, in the corners of the rooms etc. However, the staff are kind and welcoming and we like that there is some entertainment and on-site food options on the weekends of the school holidays. We love staying in the family pod so that we have a balcony but the prices of the other pods are quite expensive. Regardless, we will be back as we enjoy staying here and the calmness and enjoyment we get from staying on the site is worth it.

Our fourth stay & the high standards at the campsite remain as good as previous holidays here. We glamp rather than camp . The staff make it special , we love the well stocked shop with coffees, pastries & local food & love the evenings with food vans, bingo & bands. We have the cabin with a double bed & a bunk bed and as a family of 4 it is compact but with really clever & ample storage so works well for us, and the decking outside creates a lovely place to eat & relax outside.

Booked a last minute holiday and couldn’t have been more pleased with the location and welcome we received. Excellent hospitality and friendliness and my daughter loved walking to the office/shop every morning to get her fresh milk. We will definitely be back!

Very comfortable, clean and quiet pod lodge. It was bigger than I expected, the kitchenette was very handy and the bathroom was nice, with a great shower, the bed was really comfy and I slept well. Lovely location for exploring and swimming.
