Gladys is our converted double decker bus providing self catering, glamping accommodation for 5.

Set back in a wooded cove of the field on our family farm with views out to open countryside she provides the perfect place for a quirky family break.

On the ground floor she has the original drivers seat, with bus conductors hat, steering wheel, buttons and levers, providing hours of fun for kids to pick up the whole family from the bus stop. To the front is Gladys kitchen area with gas cooker, fridge freezer, stove kettle, crockery and cooking utensils. To the rear is the original bus seating and a wood burning stove. She also has 5amp plug sockets and a TV/DVD player (no aerial or wifi, suitable for DVD playing only.) Out the original emergency exit door is your own private shower room.

After climbing up the bus stairs you'll find a double bedroom to the rear with 2 USB charging points, double cupboard bed to the front and a single cabin bed all with bedding and blankets. She also has 2 single wardrobes and we can provide a travel cot for infants if selected when booking. In one of the wardrobes you'll find a large fan, like any vehicle the bus can get hot in the sun so its essential for those long summer days.

Gladys has a wood fired soaking tub which provides the perfect place to relax whilst taking in the view of the field.

After your journey just light the wood burner and pour yourself a drink whilst the water heats, this takes between 1 to 2 hours depending on how hot you burn the stove, once your tub is up to temp just stir with the giant paddle and sink into the relaxing warm water. Its a truly special experience creating the fire that heats your tub.

She is a minimum 2 night stay in low season, 3 nights for bank holidays and available on a short break basis of Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday during school holidays.
