A wonderful time had on the campsite! Pod was perfect for us and clean! Shower and toilet facilities were the cleanest I’ve ever experienced on a campsite!! Surroundings were perfect with a little one - my only thing would be potentially having a baby swing in the park for the smaller ones. Apart from that a wonderful stay and the guy on site was super friendly and so so helpful!!

This is a really nice pod with a comfortable bed. It is on the edge of a well looked after campsite and looks out onto lovely countryside. It has a very comfortable double bed, but other facilities are extremely limited. Bedding is an extra charge and there is no crockery or cutlery, not even mugs and water glasses, and no bin. There's a kettle, but nothing to make a coffee in, and a toaster, but no plates to put your toast on. If you're a camper and keep all your gear in your car, it would be a great way to have a night off the floor, on a real bed. But it may not be so suitable if you're just looking for an interesting alternative to a hotel room.

couldn't really fault the site on anything. It was clean, quiet and toilets /. showers were perfect. We stayed in a glamping pod which was very clean and comfortable. Reception was manned on arrival and departure and very friendly. Didn't use the shop but looked fairly well-stocked

Lovely campsite with gorgeous surroundings. Pod was perfect for what we required. Toilet and showering facilities were immaculate. Toileting facilities close to pod which is great. Friendly staff and the playground would be perfect for all ages. Will definitely be back!

My one night stay in the Nairn pod was bliss. A working farm, there was no-one around when I arrived but entry couldn't have been simpler; codes for the entry barrier and pod allowed quick entry - all explained clearly in my confirmation email which also provided easy-to-follow directions to the site.Barrow Campsite is surrounded by open countryside under a big sky allowing your mind to breathe. It was peaceful, site facilities are as new, and I received a warm welcome from the owner and warden who are passionate about the area and its history. This is the view from my pod; an ancient burial cairn or barrow where the site takes its name from. A unique experience, so calming I felt as if I'd been away for a week. I'd love to return. Many thanks S Cooper

I've stayed here in a pod and in my camper van. Staff are lovely and the whole site is immaculately presented. No loud parties or groups and I felt safe staying there on my own. Price is great as I was only charged for 1 adult and could book a single night stay unlike most of the other sites in the area. I'll definitely be back.

This campsite was a treat! Everything was very well organised, clean and positioned in some of the most glorious countryside. In particular, the facilities block was very good, the bothy was large and useful and I stayed in the hobbit huts which were excellent and warm!

Everything at Barrow campsite was perfect and we had a good time. The only thing I would change would be to put a fridge in the pods. It was great having a toaster but there was nowhere to put butter. It was nice having a sink but there are toilets with sinks on the site so a fridge would be better use of the space. A microwave would be another useful addition.
