We booked the hideaway for two nights and it was perfect, clean, cosy and had everything we needed. Loved the park and fishing lakes. My son spent his whole time fishing and I enjoyed the walks and peace!

Positive. We loved the location, next to one of the ponds. We were in Hideaway 4. It is situated within easy walking distance of Woodhall Spa. The cabin itself was clean , and the site is lovely. Negatives.Unfortunately as we visited midweek the burger bus and bar were not open.We had ordered a bedding pack, but this was not in the cabin, so we had to find a member of staff, who brought it to the cabin ( pillows missing, so made use of the cushions instead).There is a distinct lack of shelves in the bathroom to hang up towels or put toiletries on.The cabin is for two, and you literally had two knives/forks/spoons etc. No bread knives or other cutlery. The small kitchen area has two electric hot plates, and OMG they are slow. Took 10/15 minutes to boil the kettle. The electric in the cabin is on a loop, and you have to select either the bathroom or the sitting area. So basically if someone is in the shower no one can watch the television or use the kitchen

Fantastic weekend in The hideaway for the Woodhall spa triathlon, great facilities.. only issue is the car park for the the hideaways, unfortunately my car got damaged due to the area not big enough for modern cars.

The place gorgeous cabin lovely but the staff and cleaners on the site are disgraceful had nothing but trouble all week all about money would not help in a situation that was not my fault absolutely disgusting for a working family’s how they treat people

Hi Samantha Thank you for your review all feedback is greatly appreciated ,However I do think this is a bit unfair when you arrived you had booked through a third party in a accommodation for 2 and there was 4 of you, we went out of our way to get another unit ready for you on the same day to accommodate you. We spoke with the third party for you as you had advised they had said it would ok to come unfortunately they had no record of this conversation.On checking out you advised us the cabin next door had 3 people in it on hearing this our General manager immediately refunded you 320.40 that the extra accommodation you had paid for had cost you while we investigated why there were 3 people in the cabin next door.So all you paid for was the original cabin you had booked despite using 3 accommodations in the time you were here. The booking was not done through ourselves but from the moment you got here we did everything we could to accommodate you including the house keeping staff working overtime on the day you arrived to get another accommodation ready for youI am sorry you feel the actions we took were not acceptable but we felt we had done everything we could to help

Was completely happy with the standard of the campsite. it was easy to find, in a lovely location near to all the local amenities. The staff was helpful and friendly and our little but perfectly adequate hideaway was excellent value for money. It was so peaceful and relaxing!

2 sisters having a well earned break from the norm! Very relaxing and beautiful surroundings, calm and serene. The food bus provides tasty food just a bit of a wait, but well worth it! Will definitely be returning.Only a couple of things to report, the shower leaked as the door kept coming off the runner, obviously been an ongoing issue as this had affected the floor in the bathroom.The main room flooring had been repaired but not to a very high standard.On the whole neither affected our lovely weekend- thank you!

We had a lovley 2 night stay here, the Hideaway had everything we needed for our time there. It was good for our dog too, he really enjoyed the parts where he could be off the lead. Staff were pleasant on arrival and talked us through the site. The only thing we would have liked was free WiFi, there was a charge to use this but we struggled to even purchase it so we gave in. The tv also lost signal a lot and was difficult to watch at times. But overall we had a fabulous time and will be returning.
