Had a lovely couple of days in a Camping Pod recently for the first time. We've been to the Country Park several times over the years camping and have always had a great time. Looking forward to seeing the new reception, restaurant and bar when they've been completed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would also recommend the Village Limit pub for drinks and food. Woodhall is a really lovely village, we used to come here when we were children and have fond memories of the place.

Title says it all. Two plastic chairs would be nice in the pods. If raining outside on seats you would get wet. Sofa too low to sit on.Loved our stay.

First time staying at this site, really good communication beforehand regarding check-in as due to my work we was going to be arriving slightly later than normal, as you can see from the picture the cabin was as we expected small Ish and basic but the was perfectly fine, we had some lovely food and drink in the Mobile vans that were on the large Playing field , toilets and shower block were fairly clean although there was a funny smell, luckily the weather was really nice otherwise there wouldn't have been much to do, they had live entertainment on the Saturday night but wasn't very good unfortunately and lots of people left quite early and made other plans, all in all it was nice to get away somewhere different for two days and Woodall spa itself was lovely as we visited that on the Saturday daytime.

Stopped in one of your glamping pods and loved the stay and when the new building is finished it will be perfect. Great stay for all the local attractions. ( hope sunset tavern is staying???.

The country park is located in a great location being within walking distance into Woodall Spa and close to Jubilee park. Staff are helpful and friendly. We have been camping at the park for approximately 6 years now and the shower block facilities are becoming in need of some refurbishment. The pod was basic but adequate for our needs. The picnic bench outside our pod was very useful. During our stay we kept encountering families using the fishing facility in front of our pod which we found to be a little intrusive when sat out eating a meal. The camping pitches and pods are not as good value for money as they used to be. The site was quite busy on the Saturday evening but very few people were camping on the other three nights of our stay.

Woodhall country park camping pod was a great adventure for me and my 10 year-old grandson! Just like camping but no need for the canvas. Fishing just outside the pod and caught loads of small ones but more serious anglers getting good sizes. Near to other amenities for cycling, cinema and swimming. Lovely park very quiet at night and development ongoing on site. Facilities just what you need and we will return as very enjoyable and right in nature 😍

Highly recommend, can't wait to book again.

Always such a welcoming place. Staff friendly and helpful when needed. The site is undergoing some maintenance in the reception area but didn’t provide any problems. The area is beautiful and surroundings are great to explore. Worked out it was the 5th time visited within a year staying in the small glamping pod in front of the fishing lake where we fished for the weekend. Ate from the food bus one evening and even a band played for some entertainment. Not like a usual holiday site but the calming side of nature and quietness is what is needed sometimes. Visited before and seems like the fishing facilities have dropped down a level with the lakes not maintained as much. A lot of weeds and logs in the first lakes and overgrown areas in the smallest lake need to be looked at but still has good fishing session just lost several fish in the weeds. We even took the dog this time in the pod who loved exploring too, the pods are small and you have to bring everything you need with you.

We had a fantastic stay camping in our tent at Woodhall Country Park. The campsite was clean, peaceful, and well maintained, making it a great place to relax. We enjoyed a meal from the food truck on site, and the food was really good. The location is excellent too, with the village just a short walk away, offering plenty of lovely shops, cafés, and restaurants to explore. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily return. Highly recommended!
