Sloeberry Farm canvas glamping lodges are nestled in 13 acres of pasture & woods, only 3 miles from the fishing village and stunning beaches of Aberporth and a short drive from the historic town of Cardigan. After a long day exploring the area or walking by the coast our lodges are designed to be the perfect base to come back to, sit back, relax and take in the sunset across the lake.
Owl lodge sleeps up to 8 people (max 3 adults, max 2 adults when there are more than 6 guests in total) one family / household group unless by prior arrangement) and 1 dog. There is a large master bedroom with a king bed, a king cabin bed for those that want to hideaway and an upstairs level with four full-size single beds. All are proper beds made up with luxurious bed linen, super warm duvets and cosy blankets. Everyone will be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the otter brook burbling past. Our lodges are lit with a solar lighting, at the heart of the lodge is our wood-burning stove, surrounded by vintage leather chesterfields: it will keep the lodge warm in all weathers and is the perfect spot to finish the evening.
There is a large raised deck area at the front of the lodge with stunning views across the coastal hills, where better to sit with a glass of wine and a book on a summer afternoon. Just outside is a picnic table, fire pit and BBQ for campfire cooking or as evening settles sitting by a crackling log fire whilst gazing at the stars across the immense West Wales night sky. Next to the picnic table is a large private freshwater wood-fired hot tub.
The farm was founded in the early 1800s making use of the natural spring to power a mill and dairy.
