Located within easy reach of arterial roads, the camp is a relaxed, peaceful location, with an abundance of birdlife in a wooded environment. Management is friendly, attentive and very accommodating. The pod and bungalow we occupied were very neat and well appointed.

Lovely little spot, very friendly and accommodating owners. Really peaceful spot and within easy reach of the coast. If you're looking for a quiet base from which you can explore the local area this is a great site.Megapod was really lovely, great for couples. Cosy and peaceful!

Great campsite in a lovely wooded setting, close to the Camel Trail. The Mega Pod suited us perfectly - it had enough room for two, (though would be a bit crowded with four adults). The underfloor heating was excellent and the fridge, microwave and loo were handy. It was spotlessly clean and good value, providing a cosy retreat on a wet day. The site is very well managed and is always quiet, in part due to its 'no dogs' policy! We've stayed there a few times, both in mega pods and camping, and will certainly return.

We had a perfect stay at the pod. It was spotless, very comfortable, and had all the facilities we needed. This was our second time staying there, and we loved it just as much as the first time. The location is amazing — right in the middle of nature, peaceful and relaxing, yet perfectly situated for visiting places like Padstow, Fowey, Polperro, and Looe. The Camel Trail is only 10 minutes away, which was great for biking and hiking. We absolutely loved this location and would highly recommend it.5 stars out of 5!

Everything about this place was amazing. The megapod we stayed in was incredibly comfortable, the surrounding area felt so private, the owners are brilliant and so friendly too. On a clear night, you can see so many stars!Ruthern valley is nicely located, with plenty being in a short drives distance yet feels remote enough to escape from everything.

Lovely location, peaceful yet not far from Bodmin and Wadebridge. very friendly and accommodating owners. Stayed in a mega pod which was very cosy and well equipped. Site amenities were good and very clean. Hired bikes on site to cycle to Padstow on the nearby camel trail, bike hire was very reasonable. Overall a great place to stay and will definitely return.

It was a lovely site, well organised and had all relevant amenities. Other people were very respectful of noise and quiet time especially over night. We spent a lovely day in Mevagissey and had a very special time with the grandchildren. Would definitely stay there again.

A lovely setting in a great central location. Satisfactory accommodation and facilities. Couldn’t properly relax due to slightly odd vibe about rules. Nice though.

We stayed in a mega pod so that we had our own loo. Everything was clean and tidy and all the essentials were provided. We ate out but there was a microwave if we had wanted a meal at the hut.The little fridge was great but noisy...had to be turned off at night as I can't sleep when there's noise in the same room. They even provided washing up liquid!... little touches that made the difference. Aside from the mix up with where I was to park (we needed to park 2cars as I met a friend) it was a flawless stay and provided great memories.
