I think the check in time should be earlier because we have to check out at 10 and we are missing a day

Just returned from an excellent short break at Hopleys.The Bell tent was clean, tidy on our arrival and well equipped with everything we needed.The shower rooms and toilets were clean.Having read a few reveiws about the site being dirty before booking I was pleasantly surprised that this was not the case at all.The staff were friendly and happy to help answer any queries I had.At 10.30pm the whole site fell naturally quiet.We ate at the Rustic kitchen which was lovely and well priced.The only negative about the whole stay was someone snoring very loudly but hey ho that's camping.

A lovely welcoming, friendly campsite. Bell tent was spacious, clean & cosy. Seating area clean & spacious too. Was a really nice little break, the kids enjoyed the open space, river & little parks. Toilet & showers were always clean and topped up with loo roll & soap. On site bar was welcoming & food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back

Our bell tent zip didn't work, with a 2 year old with us was a bit of a worry her escaping! Spoke to other people in bell tents and there zips didn't work either. Our fire alarm was beeping so we ended up just removing the batteries, knowing we didn't have anything in there that could set on fire. Kitchen area was great with all the bits and bobs that you could use, saved so much room in the car! Food was amazing, lots of green area, toilets were clean and tidy. Overall we had a great stay. Kids loved every minute wished we stayed longer.

Our family enjoyed a long weekend at Hopleys.We booked Bell tents, which were great. Spacious with a double bed and 2 singles, electric fridge, spare sockets and very clean.Cooking area outside under a canopy which we enjoyed..Plates, pots, cutlery, etc all supplied.Shelter from the bright sunshine or rainy days and in a lovely.position with beautiful views.Site kept very nice, not noisy with a small play area for the kids.Staff were friendly and helpful.Showers, toilet blocks situated around the site with washing up areas too. Water always hot.We didn't venture off site, only to visit the Running Horse pub for a birthday meal. This is only a 10.min.walk. we enjoyed playing games and relaxing.The Rustic cafe worth a visit, food is very good and plenty of seats but tables can be booked.Shop has everything you need, a little expensive but only to be expected in a rural area.Would recommend and look forward to our return next year.

We were very happy with our staying.Groundskeeping on the campsite is very good and so is the upkeep of all the facilities.This is the best independent campsite that we've visited so far in the UK.

Restaurant and bar was great cafe ok too but the noise from campers until 2.30am kept us awake and the bell tent was over priced
