Lovely stay, pods were immaculate and well furnished. Tidy and clean campsite and welcoming, friendly staff. We also got pizza one night from the pizza van on site which was gorgeous. Kids loved the playground too. Beds were really comfy, the only tiny thing I’d say is that it said the beds were doubles so we brought sheets for both and they didn’t fit - next time we will bring non elasticated but might be worth mentioning something like this in the details - again that didn’t affect our stay at all we loved it.

We had a great stay in a glamping pod. The pod was clean and well equipped and very quiet over night. The staff were friendly and helpful and our daughter loved the new play area. The site is a short walk into Pooley bridge so was a great location for activities on the lake and for somewhere to eat in the evening.

This was our first glamping holiday, to be with children/grandchildren who were camping on the site and have been before. The site is first rate, great for the kids with a fabulous playground. The glamping pod was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful and hot. On a personal level, the downside for us was we would have liked to have had some storage for groceries to get them out sight rather than in bags on the table, and we would have preferred an actual allocated parking bay outside the pod. Our next visit would be in one of the lodge's, they look fabulous . Pooley Bridge is a lovely place, we enjoyed days out at the river , the lakeside and Aira Force. We had excellent meals at the Crown Inn and Pooley Bridge Inn.

First class park in every aspect of. Friendly welcome on arrival and an excellent standard of Pod that we stayed in. Pooley Bridge is a fantastic village with great amenities and the ability to be able to walk from the site onto the fells is a bonus.

stayed here for 2nd year in a row (booking next year already ) we stayed in a glamping pod which was perfect for our walking weekend. perfect location for the lakes. site and facilities are emaculate. breakfast van and night time pizzas are excellent. poorley bridge is amazing loads of places to eat and food is very nice. can't wait for next year already 😁😁😁😁😁

Great place to stay. Glamping pods were warm clean and comfortable with access straight onto the fell or a couple of minutes walk into Pooley Bridge. The site was well maintained and very peaceful. We will definitely return.

Another fabulous stay at Hillcroft! Our happy place. Our place of rest, relaxation and comfort. Have and will always recommend this wonderful site! The cleanest most perfect place to visit. With a lovely little quaint village a 10 min walk away. Pure bliss.

We absolutely love coming to Hillcroft. The staff are amazing the atmosphere on site is the best. We have been coming at Easter for the past 18 years. There are 18 of us in 7 families. It’s a short walk into pooley bridge which is also lovely The new park looks fantastic If your looking for a great family camping break Hillcroft is the best around

Just an all round lovely place, we stayed in GP10 and the views over the lake are amazing.Some great facilities, breakfast van fantastic and lovely pizzas.A short walk down to pooley bridge.We’ll be returning here again!
