"First time staying in a Highland Pod"

Mr A Robertson - Stayed with family, Oct 2022

Our 2nd visit back here and our 1st time staying in a Pod, the Highland Pod is small and very comfortable on the inside, and we felt that to sleep 3 adults was about enough without feeling the sense of being overcrowded, the double bed and settee/sofa bed was also comfortable and the duvets that was supplied kept us warm as did the pre-set inside heating. 2 ring portable cooking top was adequate for making a breakfast, and there is also a microwave for heating up prepacked meals and for any larger meals we found it easier to eat out, the toilet/shower is again small but serves its purpose. One thing lacking within we felt was that there is no means for hanging up any damp clothes for drying out when caught outdoors in the rain as what happened to us and each person has also to basically live out of their own bag. Campsite staff that we met, from reception, to cleaners and campsite maintenance staff was all friendly and even took time out for a quick chat. Will certainly return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ben Nevis Holiday Park and found the staff friendly and helpful. We only encountered two problems, viz:- we wished that the temperature of the shower water was about 2 degrees hotter, and the other problem concerned the clothes washing facilities. It is VERY expensive and, to make matters worse, the machine "swallowed" £9.00 and the Helpline was unobtainable so the money was lost -VERY annoying! We also enjoyed our visit to the Highland Soap company-welcoming and helpful staff there, too. Hope to return to Ben Nevis Holiday Park next Spring.

However the next day they left towels at door for us which was brilliant and can't thank them enough great service. The pod was very clean and exactly what we required I would definitely stay again

"Handy location to stay one night for Mallaig ferry"

Mrs D Smith - Stayed with partner, Sep 2022

We stayed in a pod which was surprisingly spacious. It was warm and spotlessly clean. We had an excellent night's sleep. However the fridge was a problem. We had brought fresh food including meat to take away with us and stored it in the fridge when I checked it... We stayed in a pod which was surprisingly spacious. It was warm and spotlessly clean. We had an excellent night's sleep. However the fridge was a problem. We had brought fresh food including meat to take away with us and stored it in the fridge when I checked it the next morning it was warm and our butter runny. I couldn't risk using this so had to dash to Morrisons and buy fresh when they opened at 7.00am. Which was £50.00 I wasted...... and previously fresh food thrown such a waste but better than food poisoning...... No one on site to report this to when we left at 6.30am I also thought the site in places a little scruffy, so glad we only stayed one night. We did stop at the site 30 odd years ago for a week in a tent and thoroughly enjoyed it but it just seems lacking something now.

Ms I Peters - Stayed with family, Aug 2022

We had a pleasant stay at the Ben Nevis Holiday Park. It is a big park with a diversity of accomodations. We stayed in a highland pod with two adults and two teenager. Thix is do-able but when the weather is lessen good (read rainy days) then I would advice to book... We had a pleasant stay at the Ben Nevis Holiday Park. "Beautiful clean site with amazing views of Ben Nevis"

Mrs L Sears - Stayed with partner, Aug 2022

We stayed in a Pod, a very comfortable space for 2 plus a dog. The Pod was bright and modern and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The site is very well laid out and immaculately presented. It has a lovely cafe that offers both an eat-in and takeaway... We stayed in a Pod, a very comfortable space for 2 plus a dog. The Pod was bright and modern and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The site is very well laid out and immaculately presented. It has a lovely cafe that offers both an eat-in and takeaway service although no license to sell alcohol. The site is in a great location for exploring the local area. We would recommend a stay here either in one of their accommodations or in your own tent or camper van.
