1. Unfortunately, the onsite restaurant was disappointing. The service was well below average—our waitress cleared a table for us and then never returned. We had to get menus ourselves. When the food finally arrived, it wasn’t even hot. The fish and chips came out as soggy battered fish with lukewarm, frozen-style chips. The chicken satay was skewers served with a starchy, lukewarm mound of rice that took up half the plate. It really didn’t feel like much thought had gone into the meal.2. Kiddies Disco. This should be a highlight for the little ones—our girls (ages 3 and 4) love dressing up and heading to the disco. But when we got there, it was just someone playing music off an iPhone with no real engagement or structure. No entertainment, no interaction—just kids running around in circles. It wouldn’t take much to make this special: a proper DJ or kids’ entertainer would make a huge difference. Everywhere else the kiddie disco is the main event. Here, it felt like an afterthought

The only thing I would change, is remove the sofa and replace it with a small table and chairs in the cabins. When the weather is bad it's hard to feed the little ones without a table.

We had a fantastic few days at hidden valley and were with other families as a group. Despite the weather we all had a great time. Our lodge was clean and big enough for us all to be comfortable. My only feedback is that the lake house was quite dirty with food all over the floor both inside and inside in the outside area. Staff friendly . A second register and a good coffee hut for would go down great! A bit disappointed by the size of the take away pizza in the box when we opened it! Would not buy again. Spice bag was delicious though

Park was well kept and loads to do for the family. Its more aimed at 8-14 year olds. I visited with my 3 and 5 year old and there wasn't a lot for them to do. the playcentre could be bigger considering the amount of children there. Unfortunately it was raining all weekend but still it was amazing. Great sense of community around the cabins which we rented. Food was great in the restaurant. My younger self would have loved hidden valley!

We’ve visited hidden valley for many years and always enjoy our stay. I did find that our cabin this year was somewhat worse for wear and could do with some updating. The couch was tattered in place, wood work a bit shabby and the mattress dipped to one side. Nothing a little renovation wouldn’t fix. The restaurant was great as always. Kids enjoyed the activities and the site itself is kept so well and cleaned regularly. Just as good as centre parks for 1/8 the cost!

This is our third time going to hidden valley there is a large group of us adults and children. This year we did the aqua park , indoor crazy golf and lasertag. The crazy golf was brilliant and was great to have something indoors as the weather wasn't great. We booked lasertag for the Sunday this is usually the highlight of our trip however this year we found alot of the guns weren't working seems like some need to be replaced. But other than that a great time had by all

We had a fantastic time, even with the rain! The kids loved the activities - aqua park, the indoor golf, the climbing wall, and laser tag and downhill tubing! The toilets and showers by the restaurant were clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our lodge with en-suite was very clean and cosy. The mattresses were comfy. Looking forward to returning again!

It was too crowded to relax. The children were playing soccer in the car park, which was very unpleasant. Although the staff immediately asked them to stop, they ignored it. The aqua park and activities were fun, but I don’t think I would ever stay here again.

This will be our second year going and my kids (11 9 and 4) absolutely loved it. Between the splash park, downhill tubing, archery, playhouse, kayaks, bunbper boats, football nets, slides etc they had a ball. My only few criticisms is that the fridge was not cold, it did not work and after paying nearly 400e for 2 nights in a wooden cabin. I would have expected more. The food was lovley but the service was so slow. Sending adults meals before kids and there could be nearly 15/20 minutes between the adults arriving and the kids food. Our kids were so hungry and watching us eat, would have preferred it the other way around. There was electric scooters on site and one child was absolutely flying around. I had to call him out a few times. I don't blame hidden valley for that, i blame the parents who gave their 13 year old an electric scooter. Overall the kids had a ball but the extra activities are not cheap. €385 for accommodation, €200 on food and about €400 on activies. So over 1k 😥
