Not great as my partner saved 3 people from drowning in the lake at the back of the lodges very very scary experience

Very disappointed, water looked very dirty for children to be in for water sports. Staff unfriendly.. wouldn’t recommend

We had a good time, it was our first time as a family and we tried everything pretty much. Restaurant was lovely, food great, good pricing. The only real down fall for me was some of the staff. There were 3 girls on the boats who were eye rolling at people and gave an air of complete apathy. Staff at the bar were swearing at eachother on front of children over changing a keg. Some of the staff were excellent. I believe the young ones could do with training and motoring as it does ruin the experience especially as it's not cheap. 185 for one night in a cabin and 10 euro plus per most activitie - for that pay or you want professional service. Also the padding boats need oiling/replacing as the noise from them when the idea is to have a relaxing turn about the pond.

Nice night away

The Chalet was perfect and clean. We did laser tag and wibit water Park both where run well and good fun. We ate in the onsite restaurant the first night it was diabolical we were a group of 16. The only meal that was edible was the fish and chips. Six of us had rice on the side of our dish it was served hard congealed and in a lump at side of plate. It was definitely reheated in a microwave and over cooked. My sweet and sour had 5 pieces for crispy chicken in in the sauce itself was horrible definitely came from a freezer and not fresh again inedible. When we complained the waitress actually laughed in our face she was young but still. She ran off and left us standing there not knowing if she was getting a manager or what. Turns out she told the chef of our complaint who thanked us for the feedback. And that was ii until we asked for a refund and they refunded the cost of the rrice.So overall we enjoyed the trip as a group but wouldn't go back thought the setting would be prettier

We go every year with family and friends and stay in the lodges. We love Hidden Valley. The staff are all lovely and friendly. We noticed this year a lot of activities are not covered by the wristband and have to be booked online. The tubing for example. It seems a little needlessly complicated. Most activities should be wristband to keep it simple. With the lodges, we all agreed they should have an awning over the door to stop the decking from getting wet in the rain as it gets extremely slippy, and would also provide a place to dry clothes, towels. Now this last one is funny and annoying at the same time :) the toaster!! Every year making a slice of toast sets off the smoke alarm. Alarms go off all over the lodges over toast. The alarms seem to be super sensitive and are also directly over the kitchen area. Thanks for another lovely trip see you next year!

Loft was perfect for us. Compact but exactly what we needed. I think there should be more activities on the wrist band or it should be a wrist band and as many times as u want on those 4 or 6 activities Bumper boats need to be fixed. Only 2 working worse that last year when there was 4 but only 2 squirted. Kids are gonna do the other activities but expensive. We did aqua and laser on top of wrist band but it could be an expensive weekend so need to open up the wrist band and include more activities

We went to Avondale walk around the grounds, didn't like the food.Maybe include more information about the local places to visit...

Great stay , lots of activities and a great vibe about the place

It was a long time since myself and my family visited and im so impressed at the changes and upgrades that have been made activities are good value and something for everyone, food was beautiful and great value majority of staff where so nice and nothing was a problem if we needed help. I felt it was very safe and value for money. I do have a couple of things that i would like to mention i think the cleanliness of the lodges could do with being a bit more focused on and our firstnightat 10pm the security came and not so politely told us all children need to be in there cabins but it was only after i read the rules and it states the noise curfew is 10pm and all residents in cabins for 11pm we gad children ranging from 12 to 16 so i was disappointed with that and the he was very rude about it too. But overall we will be back.
