Couples clamping Pods at end of site (so nice and calm) with great views of the valley and penines from the hot tub !Bus stop outside site for really easy access to all the local Roman sites plus easy short walk from site to get to a good section of Hadrians wall.Definitely the best glamping pod and site we've stayed at - well done team.

Herding hill farm was the best campsite my friends and I have stayed in. I was in the Castle pod with hot tub - it was clean, warm, very well equipped and had amazing views. Everyone was so friendly both staff and other campers. There’s a special field for dogs to go off lead. And the farm animals really made it for me - Coco the donkey , Robin the Shetland pony, the pigs and chickens. Is really recommend it.

We stayed for two nights to visit Hadrians Wall and catch up with laundry on our month-long trip. This campground is extremely well-maintained, provides great services and has the most beautiful setting. We stayed in a Castle Pod and absolutely loved it!!!

Amazing location. Stayed here from christmas eve to the 27th. We arrived around 6pm and were met by a very helpful member of the team. The castle pods are lovely, it is so quiet and peaceful here. The pods have everything you need. We hit lucky with the weather and were able to make the most of the hot tub and fire pit. An amazing place to spend a lovely christmas.

Overall it was a lovely stay , the pod was clean, modern and everything we needed, the mattress was very very soft , not good for most people’s backs . The hot tub was lovely but as it’s December we felt like the water wasn’t warm enough. Our little Xmas tree didn’t light up as batteries had died . . all just little things but for the price and the time allowed - 3pm to 10am I expected slightly better . Reception staff were lovely and very helpful when we arrived
