We had a fabulous weekend of 6 families - using the wonderfully equipped camping pods (everything you need inc cooking equipment except bedding) and some campers. Lovely clean site, bathrooms great and plentiful for size of campsite.Dave the owner couldnt have been more friendly and hlepful! Cafe is lovely, great food and cakes to die for.

Fab location for visiting the forest but we booked here to visit friends who live nearby. Have been before and loved it. Dave the owner is absolutely brilliant and had us in fits of laughter with his banter. He is busy creating new lodges etc everything he’s doing is top notch and we will definitely be back.

Cabin was neat and tidy as was all facilities. Good location to access the Forest of Dean . Family orientated camp site.

Great site, friendly staff and lovely cafe with great menu.

During our 2 nights stay, we had to ask both nights at 11:00 pm for other guests to please let us sleep, as they were drinking on a table directly behind the pod window.Also, while staying in our pod, we had to deal with people passing by and looking at the inside of our pod from the caravan standing in the front.It failed to be a romantic and relaxing environment.

Fancied a last minute night away and was able to book a 3 person pod the evening before just for one night. Well communicated to by text that the key was in the door and waiting for us. Pod was super cosy with good facilities, only thing missing for us was a means to light the provided chimnea, and wasn’t clear whether logs were provided or could but on site but thankfully we had bought our own and nipped to shops for a lighter. Cafe food was excellent and so friendly. All in an awesome little place and will definitely be back

Very satisfied with the general campsite, the staff, the cafe/restaurant, the parking, the showers and toilets. Pretty much everything was fantastic. The accommodation itself was well equipped and very clean/tidy.However, the sofa bed in the glamping pod was awful. Bordering on unsleepable. The back half folds down as 2 separate parts (like the rear seats in a car fold forwards) and so there is a solid metal bar down the middle. I came very close to sleeping in the car as a result.Overall, I really rate the campsite and have already booked to come back in a few weeks time, albeit in a lodge this time!

Staff were very friendly and helpful toilets were clean and tidy walked fir miles in puzzlewood enjoyed every minute of our stay can't wait to come back

Last minute decision to go away, and I’m really glad I stumbled on this place. The glamping pod was a perfect base to explore the surrounding area. The toilet blocks are clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and we’d definitely consider returning!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The pod had many good points. It was cool in the scorching heat and it was well equipped. However, some crockery was visibly dirty and there was no means to clean them. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The sofa opens into a bed base but it needs a mattress on top. It's really hard and has metal bars across the frame that dig into you. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I couldn't fault them.
