We had a wigmam for two nights. Very cosy, clean and comfy. The best campsite we have ever stayed in! Already looking at the calendar to book another visit.

"Nice shed, Hard Bed."

Well... If I had to stay here again. I would want to stay in one of the other units. The problem is that awful rubber mattress. A proper bed would make all of the difference. The shed we slept in needed more power outlets for laptops too. Thank you Dr Calder

Check in was straight forward, we were escorted to our Wigwam & given a map of the park. The Wigwam was situated close to the lovely kids park & toilet/shower block which were immaculate. We visited the Landmark Forest Adventure Park approx 15/20 minutes from the caravan park which I would highly recommend, great day out for all.

"Dirty Wigwam (even after we asked for it to be cleaned)"

When we arrived we were disappointed to find out accommodation was very dirty. The floor was covered in mud, leaves and crumbs. The fridge had had something red and sticky spilled inside it and the kettle was visibly filthy and sticky to the touch as well as covered with cobwebs. We swept the floor ourselves and went back to reception to ask for it to be cleaned whilst we nipped out. When we returned the floor had been mopped but the fridge and kettle were still dirty. We ended up purchasing cleaning products to clean the fridge ourselves and just avoided using the kettle. I imagine the wipe down mattresses had not been cleaned between clients. The boards to create the bed area were a poor fit and unstable, our 12 year old son fell right through the middle, scraping and bruising his leg as a result. When checking out we needed to leave by 8am. No one had told us that reception doesn’t open until 8.30am only that the barrier would be closed until 7am. This was quite inconvenient and would have been useful to know in advance. At £68 for the night I found it to be very overpriced for what we were offered. We won’t stay again. Disappointed.
