"Great campsite, shame about the town."

Mrs E Threlfall - Stayed with friends, Sep 2019

The campsite is top class with excellent facilities. We won’t be back however as we were not impressed with Grantown on Spey itself. We could not get an evening meal. We were turned away at each restaurant, on one occasion rudely. Same for breakfast. The campsite could... The campsite is top class with excellent facilities. The campsite could do with somewhere to eat to solve this issue?

"Wigwam"

Mr D Calder - Stayed Aug 2019

The facility was, in my opinion, situated the wrong way round. There was no internal or external seating and only one twin socket outlet. The refrigerator was adequate but wholly unsuitable down at floor level and there were no coat hook facilities.

"Intimidated by their Cleaner & Laterally Management!"

Mrs E Bateson - Stayed with partner, Jul 2019

Day 2 of our stay and went to shower block at approx 11.30am, no signage up stating it was closed. Used the toilet, cleaned my teeth and as I walked to the shower cubicles, cleaner appeared and told me to get out, it was closed. In the same nasty tone said they closed... Day 2 of our stay and went to shower block at approx 11.30am, no signage up stating it was closed. Used the toilet, cleaned my teeth and as I walked to the shower cubicles, cleaner appeared and told me to get out, it was closed. In the same nasty tone said they closed from 10-12 each day. I don’t think I’ve ever visited a campsite where the whole shower block (ladies & gents) are closed at such an early time and for such a long duration. There are other facilities available but they’re up a steep hill and difficult to get to if you have mobility issues. Advised reception team who more or less agreed there was a problem but offered no further help. After publishing a review on another website had reply from management which didn’t answer any of the points raised and gave the distinct impression they did not appreciate any kind of negative feedback. Very sad as we’ve holidayed there often but most definitely will not return.
