Somerset Yurts offers luxury glamping holidays nestled on a working Dairy Farm in the beautiful Quantock Hills.

Come and enjoy the space, let the kids run free, and explore the beautiful countryside around us – the perfect setting for you to relax, unwind and unplug.

Somerset Yurts is set across two fields of about three acres enjoying far reaching views over Taunton Vale to the Blackdown Hills in the distance.

Our newest addition to our yurt family, is not actually a yurt! It’s geodesic dome, but the yurts don’t seem to mind! At 6.5m in diameter, this is a really spacious dome, with a fabulous window, perfect for sitting and admiring the beautiful Somerset countryside, or for some evening star gazing.

The dome is furnished with everything you’d expect, including a regular power supply, comfy double bed, and a lovely crackling warm woodburner to keep you toasty in the evenings.

What's in the dome?

Double bed, double futon/sofa bed, wood burner & log basket, table and chairs for 4, small chest for your belongings, rechargeable lantern, bedside light, coolbox – ice packs from freezer in facilities, mirror, electric point for charging lantern/radio/phones etc. Bedding and blankets for bed and futon (bedding is £20 per bed, or you can bring your own)

Outside is a picnic bench, BBQ, and prakti camping stove – it’s like a gas stove, but uses charcoal.

The barn provides a regular kitchen with home comforts if you don’t fancy BBQ’ing or cooking on the camping stoves provided. The barn also houses wonderful hot power showers and proper flushing toilets…this is luxury camping after all.

Picture yourself relaxing on your Yurt deck with the BBQ gently sizzling, the cows grazing in the distance and nothing but the sound of birds singing in the background.

Somerset Tourism Awards - Highly Commended

We’re easily accessible, only about 15 minutes from J25 of the M5 (about a two and a half hour drive from London for example), with trains into Taunton from Exeter and London Paddington.
