I found the food in the restaurant to be overpriced and poorly presented. The bar ran out of bottled ales very early on both evenings, despite having mentioned this on the first night, and I was assured that it would be ok the next day. Sadly not!
Hi DavidI note you have no complaints about your chalet accommodation and have passed on your comments to the food and beverage manager so they can improve their service.RegardsThe Croft Farm Team

Booking in at reception was easy and fast my room was clean comfortable and close to the toilet/ shower block which was well maintained and cleaned, a short walk to the bar / restaurant where there is a good choice of hot / cold beverages plus alcoholic drink at reasonable prices. Meals were really nice at breakfast with a wide choice for everyone then food served all day sandwiches were my choice and well presented, evening meals varied depending on your choice which my own selection 1st burger and French fries not chips and salad the burger was over cooked and rubbery the so called chips were crisp and brown. 2nd chilli con-carne with white rice quite nice. 3rd pepperoni pizza was on a base that was hard to cut through and very chewy with ample toppings. I did notice other members meals such as scrambled eggs and lasagna with portions of nicely cooked Real chips, good. All staff I came across were very pleasant and helpful such as in the bar at night with a band on stage playing liv
Hi RobertThanks for your kind review. The chalets are the basic accommodation but very adequate for a couple of nights. RegardsThe Croft Farm Team

Our cabin was extremely basic but good value for money and did what it needed to do.I was very disappointed with the catering, the first morning I had a full English served on a cold plate with cold mushrooms, cold hash brown and cold beans, the tea which was not included was also cold, due to my busy schedule that day I did not have time to complain and get these issues corrected. One exception was the pizza that I thought was very good. The bar has a good selection of cider and larger but no beer. The only beer available was a few bottles or real ale in the fridge. I had two of these on my first night and went to order a third and they had ran out, they did not restock on my second night. In general I thought that the catering was overpriced and poorly presented.
Hi FrancisThanks for your review and pleased you found the accommodation suited your needs.Sorry the breakfast was not up to standard but we would have preferred to have rectified the situation at the time rather than you complain at a later date.RegardsThe Croft Farm Team

All staff were really accommodating especially reception and water sport staff both went above and beyond to help us make the most out of our holiday. Prices were fair both on food and drinks and had my fav drink-aperol spritz :). Facilities were clean and well kept.

Finding somewhere for a family get together for 30 people was quite challenging, especially as some live in the north and some in the south, so Gloucestershire is around 3-4 hours for everyone. We had booked 4cabins which were adequate for our purposes, but a bigger kettle would have been lovely. The leisure facilities were excellent and everyone took advantage of the lake swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding, even though the site was very busy around the lake was not over crowded. All staff were friendly and professional in their duties. We will definitely be back next year as it was an ideal setting for all the family, ages from 1year to 77years everyone agreed it was a great find.

Car Parking bays non existent and parking was a little muddled - hard standing for some, muddy and ripped up turf for othersOther than that the Park / Clubhouse was brilliant and I would recommend this to others,All the best

The facilities were basic but very clean, I noticed the showers and loos were cleaned twice a day. Staff were all friendly and very helpful. The restaurant food was again basic but very reasonable prices and staff were friendly and good humoured. Views of the Malvern's in the distance were lovely. We did have amazing weather, perhaps a little too hot for me so a dip in the lake was very welcome.
