A very quiet, picturesque, Clean and tidy site and cabin.Everything you needed supplied. Lovely family run site with a National trust beach within walking distance. Excellent value for money.

Location and cabins are lovely but a few things need addressing. Curtains to bedrooms are very thin and let in light from pre-dawn onwards, disturbing sleep. A smell of damp in various places throughout the cabin. Blunt knives in kitchen. Very few cooking pots and pans.

We enjoyed our stay at Churchwood with our family. Being able to have 2 cabins one above the other, yet apart from others and private, was really good.The Cabins were clean and fresh and we loved the ease at which we could access the lovely beach.The holiday was excellent value for money and everything we we required was available.We would suggest some new crockery for the Cabins as we mixed and matched between the two to get enough glasses and mugs for drinks.We love the area around, and despite the weather, went to various places.Thanks

There is only one criticism that we would make and that is the state of the double bed at 6 church walk, the mattress needs replacing, although a topper has been added it is still not accepable and very uncomfortable. Unless a new mattress is put in at no 6 we would not choose it again although it is the best pisition for us.

It's many years since I stayed at Churchwood, but what a great location. Quiet, close to the sea and only a few minutes from Plymouth..Lovely cabins, well maintained and comfortable.

We just love Churchwood Valley, this is the third time we’ve been there and we can’t wait to go back. This is the place we recharge our batteries, the surrounding area is so peaceful. I would like to say thanks so much for all support by the staffs and for going above and beyond to make our stay special. Our cabin was so cozy, beds amazingly comfortable and the shower was just perfect, I wouldn't ask for anything else. Many thanks,Lisandra

We stayed at Churchwood Valley for a short break in October. I must admit that I was concerned we might be a bit cold but the lodge was lovely and warm and cosy. We were really surprised at the space and the lodge was very well equipped and beautifully clean. The little shop on site had all the basics that you might have forgotten to pack and the staff were friendly and polite. Loved the location, really good if you have a dog as it’s a short walk to cliff walks and the small bay. There are also some very good pubs near by. We went to the Mussell Inn and the staff in there were lovely and the food was great. If you have mobility problems ensure that you ring Churchwood for a chat before you book as we noticed many of the lodges had lots of steps and the overall site is quite hilly if you can’t walk far. We will definitely go back at some point as we had a wonderful time there despite the rain!

Very peaceful place wildlife is amazing lovely walks shame dogs aren’t allowed on the beach until the end of September. Lovely gentleman who brought around a gate to keep my dog from escaping friendly staff.
