We absolutely love Bossiney Bay, great facilities, location and value for money. It's within walking distance of Tintagel (15mins max) and driving distance to Boscastle (10mins if that!). There are lovely coast walks in either direction and a sandy beach opposite. St Nectans Glen is half way between Bossiney Bay and Boscastle, and is beautiful. There is a short hike to it through beautiful woodland & streams and a lovely trail at the back with a roaming peacock. Tintagel Castle is great, amazing scenery and coast views but not for those unsteady on their feet. The old post office is also a lovely nougat of history in the centre of Tintagel, beautiful gardens and lots of history. Tintagel and Boscastle have some lovely shops (gem & crystal shops were my fave!) and a great selection of pubs serving delicious and locally sourced food (The King Arthur Arms in Tintagel, The Napoleon, Wellington, Cobweb in Boscastle and the Riverside Restaurant). We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Bossiney Bay.The super clean, two bedroom lodge was just Perfect, the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The Shower was great, nice and powerful and always piping hot! The all round decking was a real bonus and allowed us to catch the sun at each point of the day and evening. Very friendly staff who always gave wave and a hello as we went by. The site itself was very well maintained, lovely and quiet with easy access in and out & parking right outside our lodge!The surrounding area of Tintagel is wonderful to explore, as are the beautiful beaches in north Cornwall, so many of which are dog friendly.
