Our Posh Glamping Pods sleep 2 people on comfy double beds with linen provided. There is a mini kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery & glassware as well as a Freeview LCD TV & DVD player with free Wi-Fi.
There is also a bistro table and two chairs and the pods are fully insulated with a heater for any cooler nights or swing the French doors wide open on sunny days to make the most of the terrace with your favourite tipple whilst watching the world go by.
Shared toilet and shower facilities are available nearby offering stylish shower rooms with a private changing area and underfloor heating for the colder months. We also have a number of fully accessible shower rooms, an ideal option for guests and families that require extra space. All you need to remember to bring is a towel!

I booked a posh pod, for 2 nights, as we were attending a friend's wedding at Applewood hall. The Friday that we arrived, the weather was awful, lashing rain. My friend and I were worried we would arrive too late for check in, so I called ahead, the response was friendly and positive. We arrived in good time, chatted as we checked in, got the best places to grab a bite. Just across the road from the site... Best fish n chips we have had in a long time, menu included kebabs and pizzas, all of which looked fresh and delicious. Back at the pod, we found and plugged in the radiator, we were soon toastie warm. Nothing in the pod felt damp. Fridge was pretty noisy..... But we slept well. Next morning, we showered in the block, lovely showers, clean and well maintained, good hot water. Had coffee and then headed to the butchers, in the same square as the chippy. Apart from their amazing range of meats, the did fresh breakfast baps or baguettes and coffee. So good we went back Sunday too.

Posh pod was cosy and bed comfortable. Enjoyed our three-night stay.Facilities were overall very good.Unfortunately, the grass was cut just before our stay and with the drizzly weather meant that lawns were wet and grass cuttings were walked everywhere.The pod itself could do with some minor changes to the layout to make things a bit more accessible, such as a light switch near the doorway instead of having to walk to the back wall to turn on a lamp. More coat hooks, there was a wasted space just next to the door where some could have gone. TV was tiny and could have been a bit bigger as you had to squint to see it from the bed.Our fridge was very noisy as well so we had to unplug it over night.Other than that, we had a great stay and enjoyed the local walks, pubs and of course the zoo.

We had a superb stay at Applewood at the end of March. Great service, really lovely quiet campsite, yet with excellent facilities nearby.The pod was comfortable and cosy, and the showers were of a really hight standard with lovely underfloor heating.The local pub was friendly and welcoming, and great fish and chips you can eat in there too.We would definitely come back again.

We had a very happy experience, and bed and pillows amazing sleep , shepherd hut was spotlessly clean everything we needed was there on hand. We visited the zoo Norwich and Yarmouth . Absolutely lovely experience.

From your office to the first pathway by the big tents we stayed in Ellison number 3 I carnt get a photo yet cos I am waiting for dryer to be fixed

We went to Applewood for a friends wedding so we decided to stay for a couple of nights, the best decision, we stayed in a pod, cosy, clean and very comfortable, showers and toilet block spotless. The staff where so lovely and friendly and the sit was immaculate, we loved it .

Very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Toilets always clean. Showers also clean and very private, having your own room is a definite bonus. The pod was very cosy. Also the entire grounds at the park are very well maintained and looks beautiful! And having a zoo next door is perfect too. WiFi could be better but not the end of the world.
