Although I don’t live far from the park I wanted somewhere which would still feel like I was on holiday for my brief 2 night stay, it also had to be pet friendly as I was bringing my rescue dog.I stayed in a lodge with an enclosed garden and hot tub ( although didn’t use it) on first and last impressions the lodge was beautiful and had everything you could require from a self catering place ( and more) Seemed that I had forgotten my teabags but they give you a small supply of these as well as coffee/sugar and milk. Don’t worry about washing up liquid or tea towel either and being dog friendly bowls and poo bags too. My 2 days went too quickly and both Pipa and I loved the peace, the walks and if she had been better behaved we would have spent more at the onsite restaurant/bar. The only noise was the peacocks - so loud and the sheep. On the last night a young deer came to eat the neighbours plants. A lovely place and will visit again.

As we have stayed here numerous times both in a group and as a couple we have always had a good experience. Restaurant lovely food excellent staff polite friendly helpful. The only criticisms are wifi very poor not able to watch tv in lounge of the lodge as buffering all the time and shower not very warm. Off the site we visited the spread eagle pub in Sawley which is lovely food excellent. Malham village nice to visit with lovely walks

Lodge was excellent, very spacious and comfortable. Restaurant food was amazing - especially the Sunday dinner. Even though the park was full it didn’t feel busy or overcrowded. Check in was a little busy and we did have some WiFi and tv issues in our lodge the whole weekend, maintenance sorted the tvs (slightly) but WiFi was very spotty - it didn’t effect our stay though.

Easy check in, lodge nice and clean, warm and well organised. We didn’t use the hot tub as both had medical problems. Disappointed that they no longer have happy hour at Hindlines any longer

Staff are extremely helpful, place is just amazing ! Nice place to go for a relaxing couple of days. If I had just a couple of niggles they would be the sofa in the sika very uncomfortable and had a not so nice smell, and the dinning chairs were very badly stained… but saying that this was our second stay and will be going back.

Loved our stay in a Sika lodge. It was spotlessly clean, warm and had everything we needed. The hot tub was really lovely and to see the deer and peacocks wondering past was just magical! It was very peaceful and quiet on the park. Lovely walks from the lodge. We are in the restaurant once and the food was delicious. Loved everything about the whole stay!

This is our 5th visit, best lodge yet, Sika. Very clean, hot tub, lovely and hot, checked every day. Lots of deer a peacocks. Well kept site, lovely walks by the river. Fantastic afternoon tea. Can highly recommend it, very friendly staff. If your lucky and like steam trains a tunnel runs at the edge of the estate. Happy hour Monday to Friday and a heated outdoor swimming pool
