To start with the place and grounds we've lovely but the accommodation let the stay down. We stayed on the deer park next door to the main bar area. The car park allocated to us was regularly taken and we had to park in the main car park. The house looked very tired . Examples were lights that weren't working around the hot tub, tap in the kitchen that was hard to switch off, fridge door that you had to lift to open /close. Frying pan looked like someone had cooked an omelette in it before placing it back in cupboard. Living room which looked lovely but the central ceramic table seemed to be home to a colony of ants making us have to lift our feet every time we sat on sofa to not get ants crawling on us. The internet was so intermittent it might not as well be available. We did raise some issues but felt there were too many to sort so decided to leave Saturday morning instead of the planned Monday morning.

This site is perfect for us as a couple with dogs. Plenty of space. Nice walks. Accessibility for other places is excellent. Staff are 5⭐️. Food at onsite restaurant would take some beating. Accommodation never fails to disappoint. Can’t wait to return especially when the pool is open!

We stayed in Deerpark Cottage for a girly weekend and it was everything we wanted. Cosy, comfortable and a hot tub.... What more could 4 girls want?! We cooked in the cottage for most of the weekend, treated ourselves to massages with Debbie (highly recommended), went to Ingleton falls for a walk and the highlight of our weekend was a visit to Northcote Michelin star restaurant just 20mins away.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the cottage was lovely, homely and spaciousThe beds were comfy too!We ventured out a few days, went to Bolton Abbey and Janet's Foss - both great walks with the dogs and so much to see. We also walked round Ribblesdale and tried the local deli, again both fab! Hot tub was big and spacious for us allNice garden, it was supposed to be enclosed however our little dog did manage to get out a few times under the meshing but other than that we all had a lovely week.

We stayed here for a break away and it was wonderful. The cottage was very nice, cosy and clean. We had a hot tub and a spacious garden. The staff were really friendly and it was a lovely place to stay with plenty of walks and things to do. The only thing that we were not keen on, was the toilet made a funny noise and kept us awake a few times and the menu in the restaurant didn’t have much choice.

Stayed again in September hoping improvements had been made since my stay in January. Sadly not the case. Although I can't fault the site I feel the accommodation still let's it down. The hot tub had not bar on the lid so you can imagine how heavy this was resulting in us only using the hot tub once as it was impossible to work the lid as it was just so heavy. The bathroom still has no blind and an additional wasp nest and the kettle in the kitchen still a gas one which doesn't work even though I requested electric due to it not working months prior . Although we still enjoyed our stay these things still let it down and sad to see have not been looked at months later.

Attended a family wedding and everything was excellent. It should be pointed out that it is advisable for the females in the party to wear comfortable shoes and expect a fair amount of walking on gravel paths and grsss. I personally rely on a wheelchair with assistance and struggled with the terrain.
