One of six safari tents, spread over two spacious fields on our farm, Porlock comfortably sleeps up to six guests, (family stays only in the school holidays please).in three separate bedrooms, this safari tent has a king bed in one room, a twin room with two single beds and a quirky king size cupboard bed. The private bathroom is at the back of the safari tent accessed via the king or twin rooms. The bathroom is divided into two sections, a spacious wash room on one side with proper flushing loo and basin, and a large walk in shower on the other side.

In the sitting area there is a leather sofa and armchair near the large wood burning stove. There's a farmhouse dining table and the well equipped kitchen has a decent sized fridge/freezer and all the pans and cooking utensils etc you need to prepare meals. There's also a small electric hob if you want to heat something quickly without lighting the wood burner. The tent has LED lighting and a couple of electric sockets for charging a phone or laptop.

The elevated deck has rattan seating and gorgeous views towards the Exmoor and Somerset hills. The wood fired hot tub (the hot tub is an OPTIONAL EXTRA bookable direct with owners) is close by the tent along with a firepit area, picnic table and hammock. There's no WiFi for glamping but there is a good 4G signal on the farm so you can stay connected.

This lodge is also dog friendly - two dogs well behaved dogs kept on leads may be booked on to your reservation form (you'll find our dog rules on our T&C, do please read these as we're a working farm with lots of animals.)

- We will ask you the name of who is staying when we receive your booking as we're required to keep names for fire and insurance purposes.

- There's a list of what's included in the lodge and list of what to pack on the owner's website.

- There are non feather duvets and pillows on each of the beds, there will be cotton base sheets on mattresses, but please bring your own duvet cover and pillow cases, or hire directly from owner.

- Hot Tub hire, Breakfast hampers, farm house bread, eco charcoal, EV charging, meat from the farm, cakes and home cooked dishes can be ordered directly from the hosts.

- A £150 damages deposit will be held against your card a few days before a stay, as per our T&C.
