One of our six safari tents, spread over two spacious fields on our farm, Kestrel Lodge comfortably sleeps up to six guests (family stays only in the school holidays please). The lodge has three sleeping spaces - a king room, twin room and a quirky double cupboard bed (very popular with children). At the back of the safari tent is a spacious private bathroom divided into a wash room with basin and proper flushing loo, and a large shower room on the other side.

The safari tent kitchen is well equipped with all the pans, crockery and utensils you'll need for preparing meals. There's a mini fridge/freezer, up-cycled dresser, an electric hob if you want to heat something quickly without lighting the wood stove and there's a large farmhouse table and chairs for dining. The open plan sitting room has a sofa and coffee table and there is more seating on the front deck. Cooking and heating are via the large wood burning stove in the heart of the lodge and a generous amount of firewood is provided. The tent has LED lighting and a couple of sockets suitable for charging a phone or laptop. There's no WiFi for our glamping but we have a good 4G signal on the farm if you need to stay connected.

Outside the tent is a private wood fired hot tub (the hot tub is an OPTIONAL EXTRA bookable direct with owners), hammock, firepit area and picnic table. The raised wooden deck is fenced and gated so perfect for families with toddlers who might wander! ​This lodge is also dog friendly - two dogs well behaved dogs kept on leads may be booked on to your reservation form (you'll find our dog rules on our T&C, do please read these as we're a working farm with lots of animals.)

- We're a quiet rural place, not a party site.

- There are non feather duvets and pillows on each of the beds, there will be cotton base sheets on mattresses, but please bring your own duvet covers and pillow cases and towels, or hire directly from owner

- Hot Tub hire, Breakfast hampers, farm house bread, eco charcoal, EV charging, meat from the farm, cakes and home cooked dishes can be ordered directly from the hosts.

- A £150 damages deposit will be held against your card a few days before a stay, as per our T&C.
