These handcrafted Shepherd's huts are built in Norfolk, and based on a traditional Shepherd's hut design. Located in a peaceful glampsite just on the outskirts of the beautiful medieval city of Norwich, there are two huts available ideal for a glamping trip to Broad National Park.
One has a double bed and a single, while the other has a double bed and also two single bunk beds. Both of them have a wood burning stove, are fully insulated, and even have double glazing!
Just outside the huts is a private space with a picnic bench for cooking and eating, and there's plenty of space to pitch a tent alongside the huts as well. A few minutes walk away is the village of Trowse, with a fantastic award winning vegetarian and vegan restaurant, as well as a good selection of local pubs, and of course the fine city of Norwich is only a few minutes drive away.
Right in the vicinity of the glampsite in Norfolk are a variety of walks, including a flat 2-mile trail all the way round the broad itself - a birdwatcher's paradise - and the beautiful medieval city of Norwich is only a few minutes drive away with plenty for the whole family to keep them occupied.
The wide open skies of the North Norfolk coast are a bit further afield, but well within reach, and for the more adventurous, the popular seaside town of Great Yarmouth is less than 30 minutes by car.
