Whinifred is our old, converted Bedford horsebox providing cosy, self catering accommodation for two adults with elevated king sized bed, showeroom, electric radiator, 5AMP plug sockets, outdoor kitchenette with gas hob and fridge. Whinis elevated front patio provides views over the donkeys field, open country side and towards Filey Bay.

The original cab has been preserved to keep all the original features providing a comfy space to sit back and read your favourite book or to simply enjoy your morning brew away from the elements whilst still in the company of the donkeys.

Whinifred also has a wood fired soaking tub tucked away in a field shelter providing the perfect, private setting to lay back and relax. After your journey just light the wood burner and pour yourself a drink whilst the water heats which takes between 1 to 2 hours depending on how hot you burn the stove, once your tub is up to temp just stir with the giant paddle and sink into the relaxing warm water. When you're done simply pop on the lid and then it will take less time to heat when you're ready to get back in. It is a truly special experience creating the fire that heats your tub.

Whinifred provides the perfect stay for equestrian enthusiasts or those in need of a quirky get away from day to day life. Situated in the field on our family farm at Reighton Gap, North Yorkshire with onsite parking, goat and donkeys on site, herb plants and fruit trees planted around the site for you to help yourself to, Reighton beach within walking distance and an abundance of coastal and country walks on our doorstep, including the new coastal path. Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough are all within 12 miles of us. Included in your break is bedding and blankets, crockery and cooking utensils, your first basket of fire wood, firelighters and matches, tea, coffee, sugar and milk.
