Bess, Bramley and Pippin are three of our 4 yurts, nestled in a valley with 360 degree views of the Welsh countryside. We also have a 4th yurt called Russet which can be booked either separately or with the other 3 for larger groups. Each yurt sleeps 4/6 people (max 4 adults per yurt or 2 adults with 2/3 children. The yurts all have a double and 2/3 single beds/futon beds with wood burning stoves and solar lighting.

Glamping for us is to be able to experience traditional camping but with the comfort of a home away from home. It means not having to bring all your own equipment. It means arriving and starting your holiday with no putting up tents, no unpacking a full car after a long journey, just starting straight in to enjoy the benefits of relaxing in the countryside.

Each yurt has its own fire pit and 'Kotlich' cooking tripod and pots which are ideal for stews, BBQ's and grilling. There is also a kettle at each yurt for that essential early morning tea/coffee!

We have a circular covered kitchen with electric range, microwave and fridges. The kitchen seats up to 23 people. Luxury loos and showers also go with the comfort of the yurts. Outside the kitchen is a larger communal area with a fire-pit and wood fired pizza oven. We offer home made wood fired pizzas at £7 each which we will prepare and cook for you if you let us know in advance.

Valley Yurts is on the border of England and Wales, locally known as 'the Marches', close to the Offa’s Dyke Path with so many beautiful places to walk and visit. The nearest market town is Kington. It can easily be reached by a short car journey or a stunning walk over Hergest Ridge from the bottom of our lane right into the centre of Kington. The famous town of Hay on Wye is only a short drive away and there are plenty of other lovely places to visit while you are here. The valley is home to lots of wildlife. It is famous for being a Red Kite area and there are also regular visits from buzzards, sparrow hawks, owls and woodpeckers. We are surrounded by sheep who occasionally pop into the field to say hello and hens permitting we offer fresh eggs from our chickens.

When you have finished toasting marshmallows over the open fire you can snuggle down in front of the woodburner and enjoy the quiet of the countryside.

We welcome groups but no hen or stag do's due to the quiet nature of the site.
