The park is set within a lovely area in East Sussex, surrounded by woodland and a lake. The road to the park we found very difficult. Signifcant potholes and you couldn't really avoid them. The road to the park was also only viable for one car so if you did happen to meet halfway then one would have to refuse back. Bell tent we had was lovely, a few cobwebs but we expected this, private bathroom and shower were great and possibly one of best showers I have every tried. Bed and line n were comfy but sadly we didn't have the best nguths sleep purely down to our cabin neighbours who kept their front lights on all night. This sadly caused our tent is light up quite badly so this affected our sleep on both nights. Facilities were great, BBQ, parking next to the tent, small honesty shop on-site and a friendly welcoming host. Welcome was lovely but my only comment would be that maybe more instructions would be needed on how to work the log burner, especially when its your first time. Overall we had a lovely weekend, the weather was kind and I would return.

"Bell Tent"

D Millard - Stayed with family, Jul 2020

Absolutley loved our stay here. Bell Tent was well equipped and toilet/shower room was spotless. Lovely quiet site where you can relax and if you have children there is a playpark for them. That's all they need. Very good honesty shop and coffee bar.

"Already booked to go again!"

D Goodger - Stayed with family, Aug 2019

i found brakes coppice a great place to relax and unwind. Lovely little fishing lake and woodlands to walk around on site. The bell tent I stayed in was fully equipped, even had a small fridge and bbq outside so this was a bonus. Owners friendly and approachable. I have already booked another stay there with friends but in a lodge this time, although I highly recommend the bell tent.

"Brilliant managment and so clean"

L House - Stayed with family, Aug 2019

We loved our stay at Brakes Coppice. The showers and toilets were so clean. We fear it might feel overcrowded when the huts and tents are completed as it was already felt quite busy compared to other sites... but we would definitely book again as the static... Overall a lovely family site.
