My sister and I enjoyed a 2 night stay at Upwood. We are both pensioners. We have stayed there before, 9-10 years ago. This time though we found the site a little difficult to find, as the entrance sign was too small to see. It was a useful base for a football match at Bradford Park, Avenue, which was only a few miles away, and excellent for the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. It was a gala weekend there. We had a camping pod, As we are both getting a bit 'longer in the tooth' we found the toilet facilities a little inconveniently far away from the pods. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay and felt it was a good use of a weekend.

We absolutely love Upwood and have been many time in different groups - sometimes with kids and sometimes without. The location is great for Haworth and Hebden Bridge. Upwood itself is excellent in terms of the facilities, the cleanliness and the onsite clubhouse. The food is great value, the drinks are good and bar clean and cosy with the real fire. Brian and his team really look after us and are so friendly. We also love the Friday night quiz. The breakfasts are ace - only improvement would be to open the clubhouse earlier and to do breakfast on the Saturdays too.

Thank you and always lovely to see you. The clubhouse is always open, you just need to ask at reception to be served. Breakfasts on a sat is always under discussion...... ;)

We have been to Upwood before but we have always camped in a tent to camping in a pod for the first time was a new experience! It was great! We could have been a little closer to the facilities with the weather conditions but this couldn’t be helped! We will be back 😊

The sign for the site is small and unclear, the best indication is the bus shelter. Site well-maintained but mostly unlit at night. Staff friendly and helpful, and the toilet block was clean, but spoiled by the loud, constantly-playing brain-dead radio - WHY? The pod was clean but had some issues. There was a condensation problem internally, the excessively small window which might have allowed ventilation didn't open, and the twin outward opening doors were so wet that the door bottoms had swollen and begun to rot, requiring a kick to open/close them. The door security was zero - anyone could force the door if they wanted. The floor-level shelf and skirting board around the internal walls was subject to cold-bridging which results in so much condensation that water lies on the shelf and runs onto the floor. The 2 dim electric lights were so feeble that it wasn't possible to read by day or night. Well-located for nearby attractions such as the steam railway and the delights of Haworth.

Feedback is always welcomed, which sometimes on reading is slightly frustrating and doesn't always quite match up to what actually is a more true reflection.The signage is small and unclear........ The post code and website directions (use if towing) bring you directly to to Park. Once on site there are white arrows for direction that should get you where you want to go. Some of the signs like some of the Park are not lit..... lighting is subtle as we are not trying to look like Blackpool illuminations but blend in as best we can in our lovely rural moorland surround.The music in toilet block....... I've never known of Radio 2 playing in background....... described as 'brain dead radio' but each to their own I suppose.The condensation issue/cold spot under door....... was our fault and caused by a recently varnished window that had fused closed. Had it been reported at the start, rather than at the end of your stay, could have been sorted in 2 mins and resolved most of your other main issues with it.Security....... it might surprise you to know that in 24yrs of running the Park we haven't had a single reported theft (touch wood) of any personal items from a hire unit.I'm glad that at least we agree on the delights Haworth have to offer and sorry on this occasion we didn't meet up to your expectation.

Myself and my partner where really surprised by the onsite facilities.Exceptional clean showers and wash area, clean toilets, laundry room with iron and microwave, little shop and bar.Food in the bar was beautiful and proper portion sizes.It was our first time staying on a pod, it was clean and much bigger and warmer than we expected.Staff where all friendly and helpful.Would HIGHLY recommend.

Great stay at a lovely clean site.Meals were lovely and nice choice of drinks.If I really had to find a fault it would be :- seemed slightly understaffed on the Sunday morning for breakfast. But otherwise great stay.

It was my second time to upwood this year. My partner and his family have been coming for years. I've recommended Upwood to many friends who have also been to visit. It's a great place for kids. Being able to bring the dogs is a massive bonus for us! Upwood is extremely clean and tidy. Beautiful walks right on the doorstep and Haworth only a short drive away. We will be returning as soon as we can :-)
