To the outside of each glamping pod there is wooden decking and a gravel area for cooking on (beware: no bbq's or cooking stoves inside glamping pods at any time). We also have camp beds and single Tuffi Mattresses available for hire. This pet friendly glamping pod sleeps a family of 5 - recommended for 2 adults and 3 small children or 4 adults.

At Upwood you will find a clubhouse with a friendly bar, Upwood Inn. There is also a beer garden for summer days! With food served from a superb menu, live music on Saturday nights and Bingo on Sundays there is plenty to keep you entertained and it is the perfect place for you and your family to relax after along day exploring the Yorkshire Dales area or to meet up with friends and family.

Other facilities include an onsite shop, an indoor and outdoor play area, as well as a games room with pool tables and arcade games on site so there’s plenty to do to keep the kids happy! Free bathroom facilities are available to guests and there is free WiFi onsite.

Mrs Brook - Stayed with partner, Sep 2018

Have been in a static and a pod and we can't wait to come again. The site and the area need more exploration.

"Excellent stay"

Miss D Barron - Stayed with family, Sep 2018

Only thing missing is a freezer to re-freeze your ice blocks - other than this, couldn't fault anything about it!!

Karen, replied to this review on the 28 September 2018

There is a freezer in reception which is used by holiday makers to re-freeze ice packs Thank you:)

Me and my husband stayed in a standard pod which was good except for the fact we are both getting older and found it difficult to get up from the floor after sleeping. We have therefore decided to hire a mega pod if we come again for that reason. The washroom and toilets where very clean and the facilities good. The food choice and service in the restaurant excellent and reasonably priced. Entertainment in the bar was good and the staff friendly. We had a really good weekend enjoying the company of our friends, the only problem was the great British weather letting us down as it rained all weekend, which unfortunately spoiled the weekend slightly. Hopefully we will get sunshine next time we come to Upwood.

Miss C Waugh - Stayed with family, Aug 2018

Friendly welcome, easy access to accommodation. Spotless can I just add 😀. Especially in the peak times there could be more available for children to do. Would come again!!!

"Very windy"

The pod we stayed was very nice, warm and quiet given the constantly howling wind. It is fantastic quality for the price. I'd imagine tents would struggle a little in this site that is located on top of hill. The toilet and shower are very clean but you will need to pay 50p per shower use. I think this park is a little packed with little space with neighbouring pods/tents and doesn't have too much space for children to run around.
