Our Mega Glamping Pod at Upwood Holiday Park, boasts panoramic views over the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Pleasantly situated for a Yorkshire Dales National Park glamping trip, one mile from the Brontë village Haworth and the Worth Valley steam railway this is the perfect place for glamping in Yorkshire!
Our glamping pods take away the possible lows of camping and the Mega Pod is that bit more luxurious with a fixed double bed, a sofa bed, a toilet, a washing sink, a table and four chairs, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle and a flat screen TV with DVD. The Mega Pod is heated and extremely well insulated, keeping you cosy and warm in even the coldest months of the year for complete luxury glamping in Yorkshire! All you need to bring with you for your stay are duvets, pillows, bath towels, kitchen utensils and a BBQ / cooking stove. To the outside of each glamping pod there is wooden decking and a gravel area for cooking on (beware: no bbq's or cooking stoves inside glamping pods at any time). Whether it is a romantic break for two or a mini adventure for a family of 4, the mega glamping pod is for you!
At Upwood you will find a clubhouse with a friendly bar, Upwood Inn. There is also a beer garden for summer days! With food served from a superb menu, live music on Saturday nights and Bingo on Sundays there is plenty to keep you entertained and it is the perfect place for you and your family to relax after along day exploring the Yorkshire Dales area or to meet up with friends and family.
Other facilities include an onsite shop, an indoor and outdoor play area, as well as a games room with pool tables and arcade games on site so there’s plenty to do to keep the kids happy! Free bathroom facilities are available to guests and there is free WiFi onsite.

Site accessibility- it was easy enough to find, a little hard with a caravan with lots of small turns for my parents.Cleanliness- the overall cleanliness was strandard in the pod, there were cobwebs on ceiling, a broken light, lots of hair on the blanket which was on the sofa bed, but we still felt clean enough to live in. The toilet block was lovely and clean.Facilities- the mega pod doesn’t have many facilities you bring your own, the standards like a bed, table,tv, fridge, toilet was there. It would have been nice to have some washing up liquid, sponge, cutlery and hand soap. The bathroom in megapod was really small and they had put in a hugeee toilet roll dispenser which took up lots of space! It would have made a more homely feel if it has normal toilet holder with an extra roll. The are lacking in storage, there is no cupboards, I understand they are small and compact, however I think the space could be used a little better by fitting small shelves in and around to help.

All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Site was easy enough to find and in a good location for walking or visiting Haworth. Pod clean and tidy. Club very good value for money.

The pod was lovely, very clean and nicely set out. The children’s park and playroom was amazing; very impressed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was reasonable price and nice. The grounds are all well kept and accessible for all. The site is in a perfect location, only 7 mins in the car to Haworth. The communal showers were lovely and warm. It would be better if in the men’s and ladies the showers stayed on for a few mins rather than pushing the button every minute. Overall we had a fantastic stay and we will definitely be returning.

Upwood caravan park is a really nice place to go.staff are very friendly and a good laugh with them . would recommend it to anyone i know.we only live 5 miles away but seems like 100miles.really good weekends at upwoo.

Loved the pod, compact but actually spacious enough! Would have preferred a couple of more hooks for hanging clothes etc and also a shelf or 2 to put things on. We were a family of 4 so the more storage the better although I appreciate the space for these things are limited.Pub/restaurant great-buzzing atmosphere and lovely friendly and helpful staff-one waitress in particular was excellent but sadly didn’t get her name. Good food and great to have the soft play in the bar for ease of having a relaxing drink while kids play 😊

Very clean and tidy. Only stayed 2 nights for work purposes but i would definitely stay again, thinking of bringing the family down for a long weekend too.
