I really enjoyed my stay here & feel the site is perfect for adults i loved the countryside feel about the place yet it is only 45mins from Dublin. An early morning dewy walk with cows mooing was so relaxing. I would love to see some more facilities for children. We were only there for 1 nights stay so perhaps it wasn't enough to experience some site activities that we were not aware of.

It was a lovely experience. The treehouse was clean, spacious and comfortable. The facilities were super for the kids but we spent alot more money than we thought we would. All the activities require tokens and over a 3 day stay it all added up. Also the pool room times were very restricted. The park is close to alot of amenities in Wicklow. We visited Glendalough and Bray and Brittas Bay. The facilities were very good on site. Staff were fairly friendly. Overall a good experience!

Plenty of running around space for my little people with a great view . But my children where so disappointed in the lacy of entertainment. I had read on the website that they had a movie night , disco , art and crafts . But when we arrived they only had one activity per night and before we even booked in it was sold out . I asked for a manager who told me it’s crazy how busy they are so I told him surely they should have more staff and the website was very misleading. He said they could try fit my small children in and Togo to the activity 30 after it began as children might leave . The room as tnt and children all crammed in . When we got there a teenage boy told me they had no space . My 4 year old sobbed . To make up for this I said u would take them go katying the next morning but this again only opens for a short period of time starting around 14:00 , they clearly won’t pay for staff and are still growing as a busy . Lack of entertainment in the evening was so annoying . They need more staff and more options in the evening for children instead of leaving most of them roaming the site not supervised .

We really enjoyed our stay, staff lovely, we were in the tree house, very happy overall, but we should have asked for/brought lead to plug in fan for loft bedroom as very hot up there. if I had to find fault, the playground could be improved and use of washing machine and drier expensive. We had a great time though, all loved archery, go carts and other activities, very pleased.

The problems we had were a lot of the activities were closed. We arrived on a Friday and head to check out by 2pm on Saturday. We were informed gokarting and archery would open at 2pm on the Saturday. When we went to complain about this there were children behind at reception (nice kids but not able to explain why) Your website said there would be a disco or a movie for kids at 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays in June. Our gang were very excited. When we went to reception again there were children manning and they told us there would be no activities on the night as they felt a lot of kids were still in school. This was extremely annoying. We got up early on Saturday and the play ground, boats & cars and also the pets corner did not open until after 10am. We still had a good time but after paying full price for a Friday and not everything being open we were annoyed.

We stayed in the Tree House which was different.....has everything you need. The hot water was not working on our arrival but the work men fixed it the next morning. Cobwebs could have been removed in side the rooms & on the decking area but otherwise clean. The treehouse was in a quiet area of the camp beside the adult camping so it was very quiet at night. It was nice & warm in the rooms at night as well. Playground needs a revamp. Crepe van for breakfast was great. Pub was great beside the park for food. The shop across the road closed too early & should open until at least 9pm to support the park as it is the only shop in the village. Would definitely recommend it as there are loads of different types of accommodation to choose from on site & loads of different activities for the kids...all costing money. The train was lovely to see going around the park. We walked up to where it goes to the top of the hill but unfortunately the ditches were unkept & if you sat on the benches you could not see over the ditch to the fabulous views. Hope this review is helpful to future glampers & the Rivervalley team,

All good, not as many activities to do as I had hoped, but lovely and clean, stayed in the treehouse which was lovely. One lock wasn’t working great.
