The only thing I would say is that the toilet / shower by reception was not very clean. Hairs and spiders were in the cupboard under the sink. Also I feel there should be another toilet down by the timber tents as it was a pain walking up each time we needed the toilet... Also I feel there should be another toilet down by the timber tents as it was a pain walking up each time we needed the toilet especially in the dark. In terms of where I have selected not satisfied on some questions, it's because I hadn't used those facilities so can't comment.

Stayed in a timber tent for one night as it was cheap and close to Alton Towers and i’m so glad it was only for one night. The timber tent was a lot smaller than we’d assumed it was going to be and the ‘futon’ was a ridiculously thin mattress. Felt like we were basically sleeping on the wooden floor. The timber tent had a god awful damp smell to it too and was also full of cobwebs. The toilet & showering facilities were filthy and not cleaned at all, and the shower seemed to only be either cold or scorching hot - no inbetween! We had a kettle in our timber tent which was mouldy on the inside and also leaking. The table & bench outside also looked like it had seen better days - full of green moss and lots of holes. Definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone and won’t be staying here again! When booking the website stated ‘hurry, only 1 left’ to which we ended up realising it’s because it’s the only 1!

Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the camp as I forgot the name of the camp and I could not find the reservation through my emails. I did get a call in the afternoon that we were supposed to drive up there, but given we are based in Southampton it was too late to drive up. I did call in the morning and explained, asked if our reservation for the second night could be changed to a different date and offered to pay for two additional nights, but I was told this is not possible. While I understand your cancellation rules, this is a shame, because we are unlikely to get up there any time soon and you lost 2 extra nights of reservation and two customers. Such a shame. It would have been useful to get an automatic reminder the day before, considering the booking was made weeks ago. Best wishes, Claudia Murg 07387088785

"Lovely park"

Fantastic stay in a wooden tent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings and site. I have a couple of criticisms but nothing that is major. The wooden tent has 6 glass windows in the door so a curtain to pull across would be useful so your not woken up... Fantastic stay in a wooden tent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings and site. I have a couple of criticisms but nothing that is major. The wooden tent has 6 glass windows in the door so a curtain to pull across would be useful so your not woken up at 5am with the sun beaming in. The other thing that would be helpful would be a couple of hooks on the inside and outside so when it’s wet you don’t have coats dripping all over your bed.

Campsite served the visit very well. All a bit dry looking due to the lack of rain. Some ‘low ish’ points Hot water in wash up area was far too hot. Didn’t help that there was no plug. Easily resolved. Bit of a tidy up due around the site/bin area. Some areas... Campsite served the visit very well. All a bit dry looking due to the lack of rain. Some areas looked like they were getting developed/ no workbeing done. Thanks
