We went as a family with our friends, we had in all booked 5 Pods and our other friends booked the boat house. We had a fantastic time. The water was freezing at the aqua park so I would recommend wearing the booties with the wetsuit, but we all had great fun anyway. In our pod we had no teacups and saucers, I didn’t ask for any as we had brought some cups ourselves as I didn’t expect any there. We were delighted to find a kettle and a fridge in our pod. We were in the Tree Garden Pods, so not all pods have these. The beds were very comfortable and we were very cost and warm. We had no light in our double room. I did mention this to one of the staff but they said they didn’t think they had a light bulb to change it and they were finished in a half an hour. So I said it didn’t matter. But the next day it wasn’t replaced either. The showers - what can I say, has anyone working there tried to have a shower in there? Where can you put your clothes or towel? There is no where to hang anything and they are communal!! I had to go in and get undressed and then work out how to put my bag outside the door so it didn’t get wet and worry about people coming in and out at the same time. The floors are metal, which was freezing, I would recommend bringing flip flops to wear in the shower. On the second day there was no hot water. But the shower facilities really need to be separate men and women’s and need upgrading totally. It’s probably already in the plans, I hope. The hot tub was amazing -heated by wood, we all really enjoyed them and the sauna. It was great to have a camp fire too and we all sat around in the evening together. Overall we had a great weekend. Staff were very friendly and the area was great, shops and McDonald’s nearby for everything you need.

"Excellent Activities"

Miss M Kane - Stayed with friends, Sep 2018

I attended Let's go Hydro two weeks in a row and was very satisfied with all activities! The only downside is the changing and wash facilities, these could greatly be improved.

"It was okay"

Miss N Shorten - Stayed with partner, Aug 2018

The facilities are very basic, room wasn’t cleaned properly there was used pads and rubbish left in the room. The window didn’t lock completely so this made it very cold, there is a small heater but it doesn’t really heat the room that well. The water park was... The water park was brilliant fun for all kids and adults, the changing rooms are very small, it can be hard to get changed when there is a large group of people in.

We had an enjoyable time a great base for access to Belfast. However there’s a significant lack of toilets and showers!
