I appreciate some pods accept dogs however I feel extra care and attention then needs to go into cleaning these. We didn’t holiday with a dog however the whole weekend we had dog hair everywhere. It was all over our pillows and bedding, the floor, inside the cupboard where we put our clothes it was disgusting. Staff were not interested, got told to use the broom in the cupboard. The hot tub is lovely, however we were told they’d get checked daily, no one came to our hot tub at all the 3 days we were there, which was disappointing as it got grubby and needed checking.

Lovely pod with mod cons, great scenery from patio area. Pod could perhapes do with a freshen up but was comfy n cosy, price was good especially with the hot tub (unfortunately we did not use as our exterior light was not working) Would maybe think of returning when the site has the bistro etc and spa as planned on their website as within walking distance there is not much to do,if your happy to travel a visit to Aberystwyth is an hours drive.

The lodge was a lovely stay very private and was clean & tidy. However experienced no heating for 2 days which I called the out of hours number twice and left a voicemail but no response.

I would 100% return. The lodges and scenery is stunning! The hot tub makes it extra special and I couldn’t say a bad word about the stay. 10/10 experience and will be booking again

It was very uncomfortable. We tried the sofa bed also and that was even worse. The lodge would be 10 out of 10 if it had a proper bed. Couldn’t fault anything else. We had a drive out and had a nice meal in a local pub. We did enjoy our stay and it would have been excellent if we had a good nights sleep.

Location and layout of park very good, staff very friendly and helpful only drawback was the bed was against a wall with no room to get around it, the person on the inside couldn't get in or out without disturbing the other person. All in all though an enjoyable break.

The lodge itself was very very clean and well equipped … however … the day we arrived it was so warm inside and it didn’t cool down till after 8pm… it was like that for the 3 days we stayed.. but can imagine it being super cozy in less hot weather conditions. It’s called a resort but wasn’t really any community areas… also there was not enough restaurants and eateries in the area .. and wasn’t much to do in the area unless you drove to another town or village.. but ideal if you are looking for a more relaxing and switching off holiday and just staying at the lodge resting. The highlight of our stay was eating at The Checkers.

Bed settee uncomfortable but staff (Julie) extremely helpful sorted problem for us. A lovely quiet chilled site, short walk from Caersws village with good food in the unicorn hotel and a couple of good stores to top up supplies. Very reasonable price paid for a 4 night stay. We had fabulous weather during our stay. We visited Hafren Forrest and Clwedog Dam. May struggle with places to visit if weather is very wet.

Can imagine the site will be much better when complete. Four days of watching heavy machinery pass the lodge is not what I was expecting.
