Located on the outskirts of Scarborough and surrounded by woodland, our pods are set in two dedicated areas of the popular family park and Yorkshire glampsite.

Our standard glamping pod sleep up to 4 people and come with Electric Hook Up and brick built barbecues for your use on those long relaxing evenings. If you prefer to eat out then the friendly staff in our onsite bar/restaurant will be happy to give you are warm welcome (check opening times prior to booking).

There is a raised area of timber decking extending the ‘living area’ and providing somewhere to sun-bathe, prepare food or when the weather is bad, lose the wet gear before going inside. Necessary for Yorkshire glamping on wet and rainy days!

The pod is designed to be comfortable – the roofing material is designed to cut down the noise of heavy rain. The window and lockable French doors are double glazed to reduce condensation and provide sound insulation. The wood used in the construction is a naturally ‘warm’ material but to provide extra winter warmth we have installed sheep’s wool insulation inside the walls while a special foil layer under the roof helps keep summer temperatures in check.

There is a small, high level window in the back wall this not only provide light but will help keep the living space well ventilated and aid ‘through draft’ on hot summer days.

We suggest you bring your own sleeping bags and pillows, together with a blanket to put under your sleeping bag for extra insulation and you will be all set to stay in your glamping pod in Yorkshire.

Been to Jacobs mount before. Stayed in one of the pods this time. Clean spacious site. Friendly and helpful staff. On-site bar is reasonably priced and food is good.

"Our glamping experience"

Mrs M Pearson - Stayed with family, Sep 2017

The site was very clean , pod was clean and felt secure on site . The location was great near enough to drive in to Scarborough but there was also a bus you could get . The playground was well used by the children . The only downside I have on the site was the toilets... The site was very clean , pod was clean and felt secure on site . The location was great near enough to drive in to Scarborough but there was also a bus you could get . The playground was well used by the children . The only downside I have on the site was the toilets being too far away from the pods . The caravans will have their own toilets but found no consideration for the pods yet there was two set of toilets on one side . I would only return if I knew one or two toilets was added near to pods . Sadly that was a big issue with having children with us .

"Camping nightmare"

Mrs R Tyas - Stayed with family, Aug 2017

The site had obviously increased in size since our last stay many years ago. The facilities seemed very inadequate to cope with the amount of guests. The showers where dirty and flooding, with no where to hang clothing to stop them from getting wet. The shower itself... The site had obviously increased in size since our last stay many years ago. The facilities seemed very inadequate to cope with the amount of guests. The showers where dirty and flooding, with no where to hang clothing to stop them from getting wet. The shower itself was lukewarm and not powerful despite paying extra for them. Positively the camping pod stayed in was warm and clean.

"First Glamping experience"

Ms A Garbutt - Stayed with partner, Jun 2017

Would come more prepared next time. Didn't realise there wern't any beds in the Pods! So need blow up mattresses. Also outdoor bbq cooking facility, so would take pots & pans. All in all a fab place to stay. Convenient location. A very well looked after site, staff... Would come more prepared next time. Didn't realise there wern't any beds in the Pods! "Accommodation good, facilities not so"

Mr M Kennedy - Stayed with family, Jun 2017

What let our stay down was the lack of anything to do on site. The pub was closed Wednesday,... Me and my two children stayed in one of the pods for a couple of midweek nights. The pods themselves along with the surrounding area and toilet block facilities were spotless. What let our stay down was the lack of anything to do on site. The pub was closed Wednesday, which I knew about but was told once I'd booked in that they were in two minds whether to open Thursday night...they didn't. The children's playground is compact and a bit tired, no ball games are allowed anywhere, leaving my kids very little to do. Overall, the accommodation was good but let down by the actual site facilities.
