Meet Betty, our quirky convertend horse lorry! Betty's been lavished with lots of Nyth Robin love and TLC and is now all sorts of fabulous glamping accommodation. Betty's been revamped using lots of reclaimed materials to create a unique place to stay for your holiday.
Inside there's a well-equipped kitchen with gas hob plus all the pots, pans, cutlery, utensils and crockery you’ll need. There’s a cool box for food & drink and we include tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, oil, kitchen towel and foil, so you don’t need to pack the small things. In cooler months the woodburning stove will keep you toasty. There’s also a fold away table and seating, and plenty of storage space.
Outside you have your own decking overlooking the ponds, with a private alfresco seating and a firepit for that all-important campfire.
Betty sleeps up to 4 people with a cosy double bed above the lorry cab and 2 bunk bed singles. We include towels and bedding for the double bed, so if you have extra guests remember to bring bedding/ sleeping bag for them.
Parking is next to Betty and our well-kept and modern shared facilities are just a short walk away. One dog is welcome to stay with you in Betty for just a small additional fee.
You'll find Betty at Nyth Robin near Aberdyfi, on the west Wales coast. Nyth Robin is a small site with lots of space for our glamping and camping guests. We've our own woodlands for kids and dogs to explore and there's an onsite pizza oven which we fire up on busy Saturday nights.
Aberdyfi/ Aberdovey is at the southern end of Snowdonia National Park and is a popular fishing village with a fabulous sandy beach. Whether you’re a family, a couple, on your own, young, old or have a dog, there’s plenty to do nearby. There are stunning mountain walks, world-class mountain bike trails, steam railways and more!
Aberdyfi has a choice of pubs, cafes, good restaurants, fish and shops and local ice cream - so plenty of refreshments to choose from!!
