Glamping here is in a sweet meadow, with a river running just a short distance away. And right opposite the garden is a fabulous beer micro brewery - something for beer fans to check out as you get to know the place. Glamping and beer: a match made in heaven! Your surroundings are teaming with wildlife too, including deer, rabbit, pheasants and badgers waiting to be glimpsed.

All this is set in the exquisite surroundings of rural Wales, just moments from majestic Tintern Abbey and within all the exciting outdoor adventures of the Wye Valley AONB. The River Wye is only a few hundred metres from the meadow where the accommodation sits.

Sleeping two, Pioneer lives up to its hardy name by opening only during the winter months, but warmth won’t be a problem, with the cosy bed up a ladder above the cab, the wood-burner crackling in the corner and Kingstone Brewery on hand to supply you with that special inner glow.

Also run directly from the site is Wye Valley Experience, which offers a number of organised and bespoke outdoor events throughout the year. Bikes are also available for one hour, half day or full day hire.
