"Fantastic place to stay"

Mrs J Collier - Stayed with friends, Dec 2019

The cabins are lovely. Only downside is no toilet block on field. You have to walk to the main toilet blocks which is not great in the middle of the night. We would definitely stay again though.

This is definitely the way forward. We stayed mid October and would recommend the cabins to anyone. Only drawback is the road in is very bumpy and as we arrived after dark it was a bit difficult initially to find the gate and hard standing for parking at the cabins. But staff went above and beyond calling us with directions and they left the cabin lights on to make it easier to locate. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Thank you for your review, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay in one of our cabins! With regards to the top field, we always make guests aware that the top field is on a slight slope and guests with mobilty issues generally inform us beforehand so we can advise on the most suitable pitch for each individual need. There is a dustpan and brush and we will be adding brooms in the near future. Thank you for being so thoughtful with keeping the cabin clean :) We do apologise for the condition of our lane, we do have plans in place now to have this resurfaced early next year! Thank you again and we hope to welcome you back again soon! Joanne

"First time staying in pods"

Mrs R Collet-Fenson - Stayed with family, Jun 2019

Loved the woods backing them, the nearby river and the wildflowers by the car parking. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I put 5 stars for the quality of wash facilities which I have given for the newest toilet/shower block, not the old one. The campsite is a wonderful place to stay and the pods are great. Would definitely go there again.

Outstanding Pods at an unbelievable price. Clean; warm and surprisingly spacious. When it poured down with rain it is ideal. The staff can not do enough for you. I / we love the place.

When we got back to Holmfirth we lived down on the site for 7 weeks. What we love about this site is the fact that you are surrounded by huge trees, there is a large fishing lake, ducks waddling up to be fed and a fabulous walk along the river. Holmfirth is within walking distance. We actually live in Holmfirth and recently we had work done on our cottage so we moved down to the caravan park and 'glamped' as to give the builders free access to the cottage.

The park wasn't too far away from home but far enough so the children felt like they were on holiday. We stayed in the glamping pods and couldn't have chosen better. They were very clean and had absolutely everything we needed. The park itsself was surprisingly bigger than expected and the play facilities were fab with the added bonus of the Kampers Kitchen. Food was beautiful with very friendly staff. We will definitely book again and would recommend to family and friends

Joanne, replied to this review on the 14 June 2019
