Come and enjoy the lazy days of summer amid the stunning Cambridgeshire countryside. For the perfect “get away from it all” break and to re-charge your batteries stay in the luxurious shepherd’s hut and:
Lie in the long grass in the paddock and read your favourite book.
Sit by the pond and enjoy a bottle of wine (or two!).
Watch the sun go down while cooking local meat on the BBQ.
Or just sit and do nothing but watch the animals and local wildlife.
Having few personal possessions and little money those original shepherds’ huts were sparse perhaps having a bed, table, chair and somewhere to keep newborn, orphaned lambs warm. Even by today’s standards our huts are luxurious and well equipped and we offer hot showers too!
For the more adventurous come and stay and:
Collect eggs. Our hens, turkeys, ducks quail and geese will all be laying and just waiting for you to collect their eggs.
Our Jacob and Southdown sheep will be growing fast and the bouncy lambs will all enjoy an extra bottle or two - come and help feed them.
Enter our competition to devise the best recipe to be cooked and eaten from our shepherd’s huts.
Come and stay and enjoy the stunning Cambridgeshire countryside and experience an authentic shepherding experience!
