OSEA Leisure is a quiet, family owned and run park nestling on the banks of the Blackwater Estuary.

Osea’s glampsite in Essex offers tents that give more than the experience of sleeping under canvas, with the stars as your night light.

We like to offer our guests style, comfortable beds, full bathroom and your own private hot shower. You will travel back to the holidays of your youth – camping – but this isn’t just camping, this is camping in style: beds, log burning stove, hot water and a private toilet. Our glamping safari tents in Essex are firmly focused on style, enjoyment and relaxation and are the ultimate in luxury glamping. Our tents can sleep up to 8 people.

This is camping for families who want to relax and unwind, to be able to sleep and dream. Our glamping tents offer more than a luxury camping experience, it is family time – me time, your time.

OSEA Leisure Park is an idyllic location for a glamping break away from the hustle of your hectic life where space and freedom is an everyday occasion. Miles of coastal walkways are on our doorstep. Explore the most beautiful rural villages, historic towns and enjoy sailing or boating on the Blackwater; Osea Meadows can offer it all.

Osea Leisure is a great holiday destination and base to explore nature’s true delights with excellent coastal and inland walks with superb access for cyclists and walkers which makes Osea Leisure Park, amongst the finest leisure parks and camp sites in Essex.

The Deckhouse bar and restaurant serves food and drinks and are family friendly complete with a children’s menu and play area. During the season we have a variety of entertainment including activites such as Pub Quiz Nights, Bingo, Live Performances, DJ Nights, Live Sports Events & Family Events.

There are a variety of local visitor attractions within easy reach of the Park that will keep everyone entertained whilst glamping in Essex including Colchester Zoo, Tiptree Jam’s tearoom, and the Military Museum with the largest firearms collection in Europe.

We stayed in one of your Lodge tents and we all felt that you need some hanging hook and shelf’s in bathroom and a bigger fridge as even for a family if 4 would struggle to keep food and milk cold. We felt that there should have been at least a bag of wood left for each change over and not just 4 pieces and some kindling for the log burner because purchasing wood at night from The warden was quite expensive.

"great for family and friends to meet up and spend time together"

C Collins - Stayed with family, Apr 2019

Great for family and friends to meet up and spend time together, we have been coming to Osea for about 6 years and return twice a year. Once with family and once with friends, children love the freedom it brings and parents love the rest!

The warden defo deserves a thumbs up for trying to help us at one point.

Lovely site with a broad range of accommodation options to suit everyone. The staff were all friendly and took our feedback about how to improve things further seriously. We stayed in a brilliant lodge with great facilities. The site is clean and well looked after.

Due to the fact it was term time, the park was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay. Our 2 year old son really loved the playground. Walking along the sea wall with our dog was also very nice. The arrival details caused us some confusion. We found that we needed to go to reception first, which is contrary to the instructions I was sent. I think these instructions could be improved. The staff seemed very young. Not that it's a bad thing, but there was a lackadaisical attitude among those that we saw onsite. We did not enjoy the noise from the yard directly behind our field. Reversing lorry noises were quite disturbing, particularly in the morning. Shame as it was quiet the rest of the time.
