The bell tents are beautifully decorated with country style accessories. All the bedding and towels are provided for your stay (1 set per stay). Outside, the tents each have their own area with a chimenea, picnic table with parasol and a concrete ‘table’ on which to place a stove or barbeque. The tents were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had a microwave, kettle, and TV. The bedding was immaculate too and the electric heater invaluable. There was plenty of room around our tent too which was great. We made huge use of picnic table and chiminea. Our only criticism was that if all bell tents are occupied there are not enough toilet facilities. Two toilets between everyone. Really need two more! Otherwise fabulous stay. Thank you

Highly recommend it! Very comfortable and definitely a luxury camping experience! Not given a recommendation for staff as I never actually encountered any (we checked in late and reception was closed). Shower pods for the bell tents were excellent. We will definitely be returning.

Deers glade is a lovely camp site where the children have a great park to play in, the onsite shop is well stocked and the food nights are a fantastic feature. My only criticism is that the bell tents felt like they were on top of each other and you were very close to other occupants. The 2 tents next to ours were occupied by 2 families who had come away together and we felt like we had no personal space of our own. Deers glade make the most of the space to fill as many tents etc as possible but I feel with no thought to a bit of space needed.

We stayed in one of the Bell Tents, which was immaculately presented and very clean. The outdoor area was well maintained and the shower blocks were such a pleasant surprise, modern and clean with hot water all day long. The heating in the Bell Tent was more than adequate. The double bed was very comfy and the others in our party who slept on the futons had no trouble sleeping. We were a party of adults and one teenager, so cant comment on any of the children's play areas but there were always children playing there having fun. The staff at Deers Glade were very friendly and helpful, providing extra bedding when we needed it. The shop is small and stocked with basics and some nice little gifts, but we mostly used the Tesco superstore ten minutes drive away, as being 'amateur campers' there were inevitably things we needed and hadn't brought. Great Yarmouth is only an hour away and the beautiful little town of Cromer is about half an hour away. All in all we had a really nice and relaxing holiday, and would definitely recommend Deers Glade to anyone old or new to the camping experience.
